This is the worst place to request for Legal Service. It’s unbelievable that the community in need has to go through first the incompetence of the agents over the phone 3 times called two agents who didn’t even have a professional and nice opening disconnected the call one of them was “Randa” She even said she was a supervisor and that if there was a discrepancy between the website and the answer she gave was because the system was like that! And that I could pay for legal services instead of requesting with them. Agents seem to not like their job acting very miserable. Our Community deserves more than what they can offer. And Im not going to leave this here only! I called 3 times Nov 17 unbelievable the treatment over the phone!!!!!

The referral service was a little choppy in getting me connected to Attorney Adam Hill. A few crossed wires, an extra phone call, and duplicate texts delayed the process. But once I did receive a call from the attorney, he was very professional and exceeded my expectations.

They were very quick to get back to me when I was looking for legal help/referrals. Very pleasant folks. Orange County Bar Association literally hung up on me once mid sentence when trying to describe what I was looking for(I didn’t realize he hung up on me until the second time), next when the guy heard my voice lol and then literally when I called(all 3 one after the other), and they never got back to my voicemail...but I informed them I had left a review. 🙂 Hillsborough County Bar Association on the other hand actually knows how to treat people like human beings and communicate in an area where you are LITERALLY trying to figure out how to direct people. I appreciate that.

I was aked to explain the circumstances. She had little time and was in a hurry to leave. Cut me off to ask what kind of lawyer I needed and what I wanted to do. If I knew why would I be asking the bar for assistance or recommendation. Wasted my time explain my case to someone who was to in a hurry to leave. She texted me a number and said call tomorrow because the attorney had probably left and she was leaving too. I was rushed off the phone. I get it, nobody cares.

I just paid the non-refundable $35 referral fee because I REALLY need a specialized lawyer who deals with copyright infringement and the Hills. bar association online service delivered the name and phone number of a lawyer who no longer works at the firm provided. No one answers their phone either, so I've left two messages and guess I will just hope someone returns my call.

Update: Someone called me back and offered the names of three attorneys. Changing to 4 stars, minus one because the website is clearly outdated.

The Hillsborough County Bar was very helpful when I didn’t know what kind of attorney I needed and was tired of calling dozens of lawyers just to be told, “Sorry, we can’t help you.” I was referred to a great lawyer and things were underway in a couple of days. I would highly suggest this service if you don’t know who to call. FYI, they do take a commission from the lawyer they refer you too if you hire them.
