Attended a concert here. Large with plenty of seating. The only problem we encountered was having to use stairs to enter and exit. Not sure if there was another entrance that was more accessible.

A very nice church. Very welcoming and very good. The acoustics in the main church are not very good and could use some fine tuning

The most appalling unbelievable display of pushing a political matter in church. I attended mass this past Sunday the 10th. We had a large group and we’re there for a remembrance of a passed love one.
I am personally moving to the area, we had out of town guests, and people from other parishes. Most of us could not believe the horrible way political issues were pushed to us. One person left, to women cried, one refused to stand kneel or take communion. I could not believe the sermon became a political matter. Two people put their tithing away and did not give. I put my money back in my pocket.
On top of that you had the nerve to put a political flyer on my car telling me who is endorsed by you, the church. Do not advertise on my car. And to pass out political signage, really.
You lost several current and potential parishioners. That was a disgusting way to treat people and push political views. Who ever chose the agenda should not be part of your church.
You have no idea how many people were talking out front and who knows how many didn’t say anything.
We went to church for church, not for a political campaign.

Do not listen to that reviewer upset about politics. Read your Catechism, and know what mandatory beliefs are part of your faith. Or you are NOT Catholic. Some things are not optional. How you vote when abortion is involved and how you MUST prioritize voting against it is a core mandatory belief in the Catechism. Know your faith. Showing up Sundays, receiving Communion in a state of mortal sin because you never go to confession, does not make you go to Heaven. The Catechism teaches that receiving the Eucharist while in a state of mortal sin will send you to Hell unless you confess before death and repent. Even denying one part of dogma puts you at odds and out of a state of Grace.

We do not ask God to change for us. We change for God. Satan rebelled against God. Is that the side you choose? Because there are no take backs once you reach your final judgement.

I sing, they sing. It's the language of the angels. The readings work. I'm a baby when it comes to spiritual stuff. "Opiate of the people" yep, I'm an addict.

Went to confession there but could not find the Confessionals. Had to find someone to lead me behind some walls down a corridor. Could not find the Tabernacle. The Crucifix on the plain brick wall is hideous. They made our Lord looks like a decomposing mummy. The sculpture outside in front of the church that is supposed to be Saint Michael looks oddly evil - nothing like the wonderful St. Michael we know and love (photo attached). I went to Mass there and heard a homily about the priest's golf game and something about Oprah. Never went back. Ultra modernist looking completely lacking in Beauty. You can tell this church was built in the heyday of the misinterpretation of Vatican II and no corrections seem to have been made so you cannot really identify it as a Roman Catholic Church. It looks and feels cold and clinical. Not a fan.

Saint Michael, defend us in battle!
