I am disappointed with this DMV people, they are super racist. I spent two hours and 40 minutes just to renew my license. When you want to know something they treat you so badly. The truth is that this government is so disappointing that they put irresponsible people who treat people badly. Waiting so long just for a document is incompetent.

People here are super racist. If you don't know how to speak Spanish, they treat you so badly. And inside there are people who speak Spanish and when they want to, they help you and when they don't, they don't. The truth is that the Arlington authorities should pay more attention to people who are resistant, because that is a crime. Even though they treat you badly. It also takes more than 2 and a half hours to complete a procedure. They only have nine windows open. Two of them doing nothing. They are talking and playing among their colleagues, who should change responsibility to whom? He is a crappy manager.

Probably the most efficient DMV experience I've had. Walked in an hour before close and was able to get everything done in time. Seemed a lot of people were stuck waiting and needing to complete additional forms.

I completed everything online before arriving and joined the queue virtually from my phone. Might be why my service was so fast.

A/C could have been a bit stronger. Everyone was sweating.

I made an appt to renew my registration because I wasn’t able to do it online.

The representative at window #5 had no idea what she was doing. She said my car insurance wasn’t updated online- which I can confirm, it was.
She said to call them, and then come back. I wasted about an hour, and then ended up leaving. I called the dmv and they fixed the issue in 2 min.

I had great service at this DMV. I came to register a car I purchased out of state and there was a problem setting up an account for me because someone else in Virginia has a similar name and the same birth date. Though it couldn't be resolved the same day the employee called me the next morning, let me know it was fixed and expedited service for me when I returned. She was friendly and knowledgeable.

This is the DMV, and there no one wants to go here, but I was happy with the virtual line system that sends updates to your phone, the cleanliness of the building, and the great service.

It cannot be emphasized how horribly this place is run. They do not always honor appointments, and will occasionally skip over numbers entirely. If they do call your number, they wait 15 seconds before moving onto the next number and cancel the previous person's spot in line. This is, of course, after individuals have been waiting for 1-2 hours in a room full of screaming children.

The heavy set black lady behind the counter refused to explain the process of getting a title for a car that I had recently bought out of state. She said “they (not sure who) are going to send the information to them (again not sure who) in Reston”. When I asked her to explain exactly who is going to do what she started to get angry and defensive.

When I asked her to please look up my information she refused and told me to do it myself, even though I had gotten there early in the morning and had waited my turn. When I asked her again She asked for my drivers license and when I put it on the counter she got upset again and told me “you threw it at me” which is just the most ridiculous thing to say, because that is not what I did. She asked me to go to the back of the line which again was the most ridiculous thing to say and I refused to do that.

Then someone else came by and just started watching her interact with me. She became a little bit more cooperative with someone watching. Then another black lady came by and told me that I need to take a ticket and wait to be seen at another window and gave me a piece of paper to fill out. This seemed reasonable so I agreed to do that but it was the first instance of someone in there providing any useful information instead of taunting and accusing a customer for no good reason.

None of them wore any kind of name tag and when I asked them where their name tag was they said they don’t wear name tags.

When they call your ticket number only ONCE then move onto the next within SECONDS!!!! I literally went to the booth (as I was located in the back seats) and was told I "missed my ticket you need a new number". Immediately I hear other (non appointment) tickets called twice to FOUR TIMES and gave them grace to arrive at the booth. Wow. You just can't make this stuff up. I never want to deal with a place like this EVER AGAIN. Waste of so much time and patience.
