The Grandview has the best views in Tampa. It's a very well maintained condo building with 4 elevators to service only 63 units. You never wait for an elevator. There are 4 pools shared with The Post, so there is always a very quiet pool to relax in, or another if you want to be more social. The gym is really nice as it was recently remodeled. It's so conveniently located on quiet Harbour Island, just across the channel from downtown Tampa with views of the Amalie Arena, the convention center, new Water St development, restaurants, hotels, Sparkman Wharf, and the Tampa Riverwalk. It's living the dream in Tampa.

I decided not to purchase here because there are some glaringly obvious flaws to this building. Issues 1-4, there's no pool, clubhouse, fitness center or parking in or owned by the building. To try to make up for this, they've contracted with the less than premium apartment complex next door to use their facilities. The apartment complex is mainly college students and is exceedingly reminiscent of a party dorm especially on the weekends. You, as an owner, pay monthly in your condo fees for the "priveledge" of renting these "amenities."
Issue #5, there's only 1 elevator and it seems to be about 1000 years old. It's extremely slow and I can't imagine how late it might make one for work or other activities.
Now for the positives, the units really do have spectacular views. They're well laid out and very spacious. You get a lot of light no matter where your unit is located in the building.
