Bristol Street Motors Peugeot Northampton were really helpful and I'd definitely recommend them. They were both professional and attentive. I dealt with Stephen Lee and he was a pleasure to deal with. He went out of his way to find me a car after I was very picky with what I wanted. He was friendly and approachable, you could have a laugh with him but he didn’t sway from giving great customer service. The dealership was very clean and welcoming. 10/10 would return to Bristol Street for my next car purchase in the future.

Bought a used car. The person we delt with was great HOWEVER don't fall for the diamondbrite scam. Told I was paying for a lifetime guarantee as diamondbrite was being carried out as courtesy due to a smell in the car. Diamondbrite lifetime guarantee does not exist as a product! Have not had emails responded to by the manager. Have been waiting months...

It went as well as I expected.

My car was booked in for a service and I had informed them (virtual booking, added a note) that it was smoking, probably EGR valve.
Dropped the car off and used the key drop off service
where no one bothers to speak to you, you just use the screen and drop the key in a box.
As I walked in, I could see 7 people sat and stood in the general area and not one looked up, made eye contact or made any attempt to even be polite. I'm sure having a stream of service customers coming in and out all day is annoying, but they are tomorrows car buying customers. Maybe make the effort to engage, not ignore.

Now then, I had actually booked to wait with the car but had some bits to do so got picked up. As I waited for my lift (8.45am) I watched someone drive my car in to the workshop.
I called at midday to check progress and the person I spoke to didn't know. I called again at 4.30pm and was told it was ready. Good job I didn't wait.

I collected the car and the next day drove to Manchester to visit a customer. On the return journey at 70mph in lane 2, the engine cut out.
After I coasted to a stop it said there was.....wait for it.........an EGR fault. Who could of guessed that. If only someone had told them when it was with them for a whole day.....oh, I did.

I called them to explain what had happen and to check what they had done the previous day. I asked about the smoking and they said they drove it for 8 miles but there weren't any notes on the system so likely no issue. I explained that I was now broken down as a result of their inaction.

It restarted after a break and I limped it back home and took the car back to following day. They had it all day and on collection I was told they hadn't done anything, again. They said it probably needed an EGR valve and injectors and they needed to get the work authorised by the lease company but when I asked if they had sent the request, they said no.

I took the car away and fortunately for me, it was end of lease and went back a few days later.

Please try harder. Customer service is easy, treat people like you would want to be treated.
Also, I'm not sure where you stand legally letting a customer drive away in a dangerous car. I reported to you that it cut out on the motorway at speed two days before. You sent me away with the car in the same condition. What if next time it stopped in lane 3 with my family on board?

Really nice staff, Chloe was brilliant. Although we didn't go with them in the end, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people coming to look at Peugeot now. The company has moved on leaps and bounds, compared to 10 years ago!

Dropped my car on 24th September 2024 at 10:30am for MOT, had to call before I got result of failure, paid for repairs same day, thereafter I kept calling everyday to get updates and was repeatedly told next day hopefully the car should be ready until yesterday 1st October when I was told it will be till Friday 4th October that the car will be ready. I and my family have struggled with work, school and everything for over a week as at today.
This is not a good garage to recommend except you have multiple cars and don't mind the delays. Also the communication system is very poor and not giving clear updates with timeline from the beginning.
Am waiting for Friday in two days time now to see if they will deliver.

Had my works VAN in for a service on a engine management fault. (7) Weeks today Thursday 17/10/24 and still waiting for repair. My managers have tried on many occasions to get up to date info on the repair, and received so many different excuses it's unreal. Also the mechanic repairing went on holiday for 2 weeks without handing the job over. As a business we run numerous VANS and on average 1 van makes roughly 34,000 gross a month. We as a company have lost almost £60,000 waiting for a small repair. WTF is going on. Maybe bill the company for lost revenue. 🤷
