I been clean for a little over two years now. I can't speak for all locations but the Legion Avenue clinic has some of the best counselors. There was only one female counselor there who didn't belong and I'm so happy that she's no longer there. Except for her, everyone else there is wonderful. Unfortunately methadone has a bad stigma because I will say I know more people who abuse it rather than use it correctly but it is a miracle drug and program and it does work it you work it correctly.

This place does great things for people that need a little help. How can that be anything other than excellent? I know a few people that have completely turned their lives around & are now, basically back to the real version of themselves. It's truly a wonderful thing to see.

I've been going to the APT foundation for treatment and it is above and beyond the greatest place to receive treatment for opiates and other addictive substances. The staff is absolutely adorable and the director is so fair in the way she handles things. I don't think that I would be alive if they weren't around.

Worst of all clinics. The clinicians can care less about clients. Also gay black guy in 1 Long wharf is super rude and acts as if he's better than clients.

Been going to this Methadone clinic for 13 years now. It's thee WORST drug rehabilitation clinic I've ever gone to! Absolutely NO productive groups, individual therapy, counselors, or treatment at all. The move you through like cattle getting feed. Give you your method and out you go. You can buy more drugs right across the street ( including methadone bottles just given to patients) then you can in worst parts of any town/city. O.D.'s, shootings, stabbings are a regular accuracy in and outside of clinic. They'll put mandatory holds on you regardless of you have a job or doing good for hours. Then you have to sit there and wait just to say " I'm doing fine" to a counselor. No heads up the day before. Doesn't matter if you'll lose your job or you've got a medical appointment you've been waiting months for. Your successful progress means nothing. Homeless hang out inside like it's a warming center. Theft, begging, and scamming are tried daily. The security AND police presence are for show. Unless staff is involved. No consequences for dirty urines. In the past I've been dirty for cocaine, benzos, and fentanyl in a single urine. But it didn't affect my 13 bottle take home. But forgetting to produce a letter of my prescriptions ( no narcotics, no benzos, no psych meds) only vitamins and anti acids. They took a weeks worth of bottles. Even though I produced my MyChart account and CVS account showing my scripts. They would not print them out for me either. Tell me how that makes sense? Basically if you want to continue to do drugs on methadone this is the place for you. If you're actually trying to get clean........RUN!!!!!!!

I started out at this clinic , while I no longer go there.. I know when I was there for a period of a year they had really great groups you could attend and friendly, helpful counselors. I'm not sure how it is now, especially since the pandemic, but thank you for helping addicts! Some of us really are trying to get better, and I know the APT Foundation has been instrumental in my success.

I have been here approx 5 years...great counselors, tons of groups to choose from with all types of topics, and all the staff I have found truly care: from security, cleaning staff, general staff members. I haven’t had a “dirty” urine, not once, since I came to this program. I’ve worked up to being able to take home a months’ worth of medication at a time...starting from coming daily to be medicated. I got my life back, thank you legion APT.....kelley G.
