My family of four and I have been going there for many many years. We first went inside and ask for information on how to get a membership, we were greeted and given plenty of information. They have various plans for different budgets. They also offer financial assistance for those who really need it and they will check your taxes in case you do ask to be a part of that program.

They have a really cool bar area where you can get coffee or tea. They also have this sitting area where you can meet with other people to chat, grab a book and chat away.

There is a pool and basketball area, and plenty of grass space outside if in the mood for an outside workout. They have teen nights, adult nights and arcade night where a big bus and is loaded with video games. Prices and dates vary on these activities. They have summer, fall, and winter programs for various ages. They do have a whole magazine dedicated to it. They have after school daycare as well.

When you get to the gym, you see this modern building and huge window panels all across. This gym is always full, so parking is a bit hard to get to. I have seen some people park on the side of the street.

The staff is great, maybe one or two weird attitudes but other than that it's a same environment.

I have been going to the gym for years now with my family of 4. The daycare team knows my daughter since she was a baby. I love the 90 minutes of care they give you to get a good workout in. This gives you ample time to warm-up, exercise and shower after. The daycare has separate areas for different age groups for the kids. They have an outside playground. I like that this gym has several staff both in and out watching the kids.

Clean facility, friendly staff, includes basketball court and swimming pool. Lots of perks to this gym but it's biggest downside is the size. In peak hours you will be waiting for equipment and squeezing by people just to walk around. The areas reserved for stretching and mats are also pretty limited. Machine options are good, but only one of each type for the non-cardio ones. They switch the layout from time to time to maximize space but it's still just too small at busier times.

I love love love the value of this gym for all that is offered. The class schedule is very good and the AOA classes are very good. Christy is a fabulous instructor and makes sure we do things the correct way as to not injure ourselves. Highly Recommend.

The White Rock YMCA in Dallas provides a lot of bang for your buck. There are so many great group classes, and the gym is fully equipped with the machines and free weights you might expect. Folks are friendly. It’s family oriented but because there is reliable childcare provided, small children aren’t just running around the gym floor, and parents can get their workouts in.

This Y does not disappoint. It is always clean, the floors stay dry, there are machines and towels available, despite it being very busy! It is always packed with diverse people who care about their own health and well-being and the health and well-being of the community.

White Rock YMCA has decent facilities, but it falls short in cleanliness, and the equipment is somewhat outdated. The staff is friendly, but the overall ambiance could use improvement. Limited parking can be frustrating during peak hours. It's an okay spot, but there are better options in the area.

I have been a member since 1970. I’ve started running marathon since 1977 and I still do but I now walk run. I enjoy the White Rock YMCA because I can go around the lake and do weights afterwards

We join during the summers specifically for the pool and swim lessons. The staff are always friendly, locker rooms and pool are clean, and the swim teachers have always been very kind and patient with my kids. We arrive early for lessons in case we have to hunt a bit for parking, but finding a spot usually isn't an issue if we come to swim in the afternoon.
