I stumbled upon this church one Sunday a couple of years ago. From day one, I felt like part of a family. A family that doesn’t judge you from the way you look, how you are dressed , what color you are , or even which political group you’re a part of. (Haha). We are a family of God’s children trying to spread the word that God loves EVERYONE!!! Come join us!! I promise you won’t be sorry you did. I know I wasn’t.

This is an amazing church. The Members, pastor, Staff and Children's Ministry are inclusive and welcoming. I was especially drawn to the outreach for local organizations and connection to other congregation.

A church that CHURCHES. 100+ years of tradition with diverse styles of worship and multiple ways to get involved. Growing and friendly, with staff and pastors passionate about ministering to all ages within the church. FUMC has earned a reputation for service to the community, from the Roanoke Food Pantry and Senior Center to filling SnackSack backpacks for elementary students in Northwest ISD. Rich content in Sunday school for all ages; Multiple adult classes to choose from, plus small groups for specific studies and interests. Bright and recently-renovated nursery area. Active volunteer Safety team trains to act in case of health emergencies, weather events, and other scenarios common in the church environment.
