In my aunt’s time of need, Resources Unite volunteer showed up with three boxes of food that helped her get through the month. My wife and I don’t get paid until Friday of next week but this volunteer took time out of her day to deliver. We, my aunt, my wife and I, thank you all wholeheartedly for your assistance. I've called several times asking for help in an emergency situation and all they say is they can't help. They pick and choose who they want too help and especially people that come from other states asking for help. How can you say you help the community but really you don't. And then you make post how you have helped this one and that one as too make your selves look good.

I don't know what happened. But apparently because my last name starts with z is the only thing I can think., They quit delivering and I have no way of getting food for this thanksgiving. I even told them that when I ordered it. The lady on the phone there told me I have to pick it up. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody I won't have one.

The staff truly give their all to the community. I have watched them on social media but finally made my way into the office. If you have a chance check it out and see what you can do to help our community!

I think it's a great idea for the low income families to get something good to eat. The downside is it's outside. Also the line gets long because there is lot of people. And sometimes there is a few people that get feisty. All and all good experience. Also you will need to bring a few bags or a small box.

My friend has started the intake process with Resources Unite four (4) times and has never received any follow up, much less help. She has three young children and is struggling to find and afford housing without relying on abusive people in her life. She is losing hope and I live across the country so I can't help as directly as I would like to. Does anyone know of any good organizations that will actually help her

For some, using services can be a hit to your pride. I can safely say that would not be the case after working with the staff at Resources Unite. They have a welcoming and non-judgemental approach towards helping people. They provide food giveaways, offer free hygiene products and cleaning supplies. This is all made through donation, so please donate if youre able. It has been a life saver to know there is a resource in town that treats you with respect while assisting with your need.
