We always love our family walks here. You'll often see folks taking pictures with professional photographers, but they're usually respectful and not to obnoxious.

Hermoso espacio al aire libre. Senderos para recorrer entre ambientes diferentes (pastizal, bosque, arroyo) rodeados de vegetación y fauna silvestre. Perfectamente cuidado. Completamente gratuito.

Very well maintained, sad about the drought ☹️ I noticed there was less water right now during the fall than last time I came during the spring.

Dont' forget to see the dinosaurs tracks, near the parking lot and the restrooms.

There's picnic tables, native garden visitor center and best of all, it's free.

We finished the creek hike in about an 1 hr in the shade side and it has such a cute and beautiful scenery.

I got to see deer, cardinals, wrens, armadillos, rabbits, squierrls, butterflies, fish, turtles, tadpoles, and frogs.

Remember to walk on the trails!
And don't leave trash! I had to pick up around 12 aluminum cans ?

Would I go again, definitely. Would I got 10 times? Yesss!

It is beautiful place, we walked the Marsh trail easy and accessible for everyone with a nice boardwalk. Trails along the river are dirt roads but not too difficult. Beautiful view of the creek and trees, plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Each bench is different, it makes the walk interesting, and there are a couple of hidden stairs leading towards the creek. Dinosaur tracks are very interesting place to explore and located right by the parking lot. Picnic tables and clean bathrooms, visitor center and plenty of parking. Free and dog friendly.

Makes for a nice evening walk. There is a lot to see here in terms of wildlife and foliage. The creek is beautiful but is often polluted from run off. We spotted at least 4 signs warning people to stay out but it seems no one heeded the warning. We saw several maternity shoots taking place in the water, bare feet and all, despite a sign being posted before entering the creek area. I was pretty flabbergasted to say the least. On a more positive note, we really enjoyed the meditation area and the small fortress structure. We saw a variety of plant and animal life including an armadillo, rabbits, a coyote, squirrels, deer, snakes, and butterflies. There are a few stations for picking up after your dogs, which must be leashed at all times. The bathrooms didn't have soap and were pretty icky but I've seen worse and hey at least there was toilet paper! This is a great place for the family. I only deducted a star because the water always seems to be polluted and for there not being soap in bathrooms.

This nature preserve is so much fun. There are several trails and even during the winter there is still water flowing and lots to see. The walking trails aren't strenuous ans there is plenty of wildlife. The nature center is nice too and the staff were lovely. Best part? This place is free!

This place is so beautiful and relaxing. The lazy creek had fish and turtles and frogs all living their best life. There were some of the biggest trees I've ever seen down by the creek and I was just floored by how serene it was to just walk around with my family. I really loved it here and I'd love to be able to come back one day.
