I've called several Mondays trying to see about assistance, I get booted out every time. I called this morning just to get an understanding of how their phone system works, or if there was another option instead of them just taking 5 callers on Monday's from 8:30-8:45am, the lady was really short and rude and kept talking over me while I'm trying to get my point out. If you don't want to help people or if you're having a bad day, you should try communicating that with your supervisor. In addition, I truly feel like they should have more options than just accepting 5 people over the phone in a matter of 15 minutes. How will any one get any help and you only help 5 people on Mondays for 15 minutes?

Mi experiencia en ese lugar fue lo más triste y decepcionante qué puede haber pasado en mi vida porque llegué con la ilusión y la esperanza de que pudiesen ayudarme porque estoy pasando por una situación difícil en estos momentos ya que estoy en esta ciudad de Kansas City porque vine desde New Jersey a trabajar con unas personas que me ofrecieron casa y trabajo pero estas personas no me pagaron y me botaron a la calle y me dejaron sin ningún dólar para poder regresarme a New Jersey, y lo único que quería era ver si me podían ayudar con el pasaje de bus para poder regresar ya que estoy en la calle y me atendieron en verdad de una forma que parece que lo que menos son y lo que menos tienen es sentido de humanismo

Very nice staff that helps you with whatever you ask. Quick process when getting food and hygiene products. Also gave me lots of good resources for other programs. Every one there is very friendly. Not open on Fridays though.

Came here me my 9 month old and my 4 year old and wife homeless and was told there was no funding to help us. Yet they have the nicest office ever. Thought you were a non profit.

So I reached out to Catholic charities. I did so to assist an elderly couple that I have befriended recently. That I have a problem paying their utility bills.. After Being on hold for 26 minutes finally some lady named Kelly answers the phone. I introduced myself. I attempt to ask her some questions before I'm rudely cut off and Spoken over. Then I am told that all of the funds at 11:40 in the morning have been delegated or allocated for today so therefore I will need to call back. Next Tuesday. I ask Kelly how are the funds dispersed are they daily? Is there a special time that you You allocate funds. Just to receive some information So that I could assist my friends so is what I now have discovered? Is that Catholic charities really isn't in help at all? So I decided to get onto the website and see how much Catholic charities produces are is donated for year and I would recommend people go do that and then let's see how much the salaries are for the rude people answer in the phone.

I Had horrible experience today going to the Catholic Charities office. I had an appointment, they did not explain we would be handling my business in front of others waiting in the lobby. So if you need help who cares about confidentiality! The ladies at the front desk were rude and insensitive to me letting them know I was not understanding the process and the paperwork. They dismissed me and my frustration several times as I advised them I was unclear as to what the process is and explain to me the info they needed. I left there feeling confused, frustrated and that I may need to look elsewhere for help. They definitely kept hounding me to complete a survey....before I completed anything...asking if I felt treated well and if I felt helped. All questions on that survey I entered "Strongly Disagree "!!!! Lucky for them I'm not a secret shopper. They get a low grade today. Definitely not what I expected from Catholic Charities!

I recommend so many people to this place ..My phone died and I nicely asked the lady at the front desk can she please call my grandmother and she was very rude and said absolutely not...Whole time I have a broken foot and was exhausted..After already having a bad day she definitely made it worst...I will never ever recommend that place to anyone
