Dougie G’s is the place to go for country music bands plus dancing on Friday and Saturday nights. It is inside of VFW post 7945 at the same address. It is open to the public with a small cover charge for the bands. Lots of friendly people go there for a good time but there is plenty of room and a big dance floor

It was a nice place I would go back. Dougie g was really nice they had a really good band Tyler Howell & the country club. There was a 10.00 cash cover charge no cards to get in. There is an ATM in the entrance.

Staff and patrons were amazing. One of the best nights 'ive had in a while. Everyone is so welcoming and the drinks are fantastic. Great place for dancing live music and making new friends!

Great group but other membership is dwindling as the younger vets don't seem interested. They have activities such as dinners,dances,etc to attract the public which are usually worthwhile.

Bar is open to the Public. Go and meet a Veteran and enjoy the History of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Hall Rental, Karaoke, Live music. Good friendly atmosphere. I will be visiting again to thank all the Veterans I meet.

Stopped in for drinks and karaoke on a Friday night.
I am a 20-year Veteran. Nobody in the place even asked if any of us were Veterans let alone VFW members from another chapter.
Bartender had no personality; just asked what I wanted, served it up, and collected the money. She seemed like she was bored and tired.
As for the karaoke, they only play what they have on DVDs, itemized on their paper lists. We went through the list front to back. The "newest" song available was a pop rock song from 1994!!!

We never really got to enjoy this place as we weren't ready for the band and the whole party .
But we will definitely get back in there soon as the folks at the door were friendly and fantastic.
