I am not sure if Renee Grimes work with your organization. However, I am totally disappointed in the Case Manager service with AID. I just found out today that my adult son, who is mentally disabled was dropped by AID. I was in Wisconsin for over 15 years of which my son had a case manager for at least 5 years and they never dropped him. They worked with him. AID never communicated this uninvolvement with me so I can try to continue to get my son to get his shots from the physician. I am so disappointed in the system in Illinois for mental health patients who are homeless.

I will try to find another Case Manager for my son.

My name is, J...
I have been a client of A.I.D. for almost a year now. I struggle with bipolar depression and anxiety. My case manager's name is Andrew...
I have had many counselors, social workers and case managers through out the history of my life. Andrew is by far one of the best case manager's I have had in a very long time. He is friendly, understanding, patient, empathetic and very professional!
He acts and conducts himself in ways a case manager should. Unfortunately not everybody in that line of work have these characteristics from my experiences in life. I always feel safe and unjudged by him. I trust him 100% for me to be able to open and discuss my personal life issues I have going on with him. He always show's up on time and when he is running late he calls and let's me know. If I need to go any where like a laundromat, food pantry or any appointments I have coming up Andrew's on top of it all! Whoever reads this review A.I.D. does HONESTLY have staff members there that will help and absolutely care about people struggling & when it comes to Andrew I wouldn't ask for anyone better!

My child has a job coach there. My child goes to church on Sunday and has a weeknight bible study. This is a total of 4 hours per week that she will not work. The job coach was rude anout it and said she wont be able to get a job if she doesn't work at those times. Furthermore she said that my child would have to decide whether she wanted a social life with her friends or a job! When my child filled out a survey and mentioned it, the supervisor came in and in front of the job coach, asked my child to explain. Both she and I did. The job coach DENIED the WHOLE incident saying that she would never say that and she thinks religion is important! I wad there and heard her say those words! They then decided to cross out what my child wrote on the survey which should have been confidential!

They ask scores of personal irrelevant questions during their intake process. When I stopped the questions and asked that my personal information be "deleted"with a confirming email to me they failed to comply and don't answer calls at any location. I w

Worst organization.....managers don't care for the welfare of clients. Always under investigation....somebody needs to clean house there. And pay is pathetic for what you do.
