The youth softball program is a joke. My daughter's team is practicing 1 time before games start. 1 time! My daughter is 7 and has never played before. How will these girls learn and feel comfortable before a game if they have no idea what they're doing? Every other league in the area has been practicing for weeks. Complete and total waste of time. We will be playing literally anywhere else next year.

10+ years of our kids playing all sorts of rec sports at WAA… soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, flag football. They run a great program and do a good job trying to place kids on teams with others from their school or neighborhood.

Facility's are nice but this isn't a good place for open gym. The middle school kids are running over the smaller kids. And my daughter, the only girl here, hasn't been able to touch a soccer ball in thirty minutes. If they are going to charge kids to come to these events they need to make a better attempt at making it accessible for the range of ages who come out and try to take part.
