Jason is amazing and a hero! I was fortunate to rescue a ball Python in the woods near my house and we called Jason and gave him the snake so that snake could have a second chance of a good life being an ambassador for snake education! Jason was so thoughtful and kind to inform us all about what his plans for our new snake friend was gonna be, which made me feel so comfortable knowing that he was going to a good home! SRR is a wonderful rescue business and I really appreciate all that he does for reptiles!

Called and asked to remove a snake. Told me it could a be a cottonmouth or copperhead and said it’s okay to leave my car because there’s nothing he can do. Called someone else they removed it immediately. This business is not helpful at all

Jason was amazing! We had a snake tangled in some erosion mesh in our yard and we could not get it all cut off to save the snakes life. Jason happily met us so he could take the snake and carefully cut it free. Highly recommend them!

I just came home from our 2 dogs going through Snake Aversion Training with Jason & his daughter Audrey. They were very punctual, polite and knowledgeable. Jason is very knowledgeable on snakes and on dogs. He combines that knowledge to teach the dogs to respect a snakes space.

One of our dogs is a knucklehead and slow learner. The other one is too intelligent and knows when he is wearing an E collar. I am terrified of snakes, so my husband went through the course one by one with the dogs, while I stayed in the car. Jason talked both of us through everything that was going to happen before it happened and then as it was happening. Within 15 minutes each dog was avoiding the snakes and looking to us for guidance on what to do.

My primary concern was my intelligent dog because he normally knows when he's wearing an E-collar. I figured if he wasn't wearing the E-collar, he wouldn't avoid the snakes. Jason reassured me that many of his dogs he trains are hunting dogs who know when they are wearing E-collars, but the training sticks regardless of if they are wearing it or not. This proved true because at the end of the training we took both dogs out with a lose rat snake and they wanted nothing to do with it.

Jason also educated us on the snakes and the wildlife in our area and what to do if our dogs were ever bitten or we encountered a snake. He also told us to save his number so that if we do see a snake that we can't identify we can just text him the picture and he will text us back with what kind of snake it is and how to proceed.

I think it's important that when you're turning to someone you don't know with someone/thing you treasure or value (like your dog) you turn to someone that's as emotionally invested in you. Jason has a love for snakes and at the end of the day doesn't want snakes to be killed. Thus he teaches a class of avoidance which will result in less snakes killed. When he succeeds at protecting our dogs, he also succeeds at his ultimate goal of protecting natures snakes.

The cost is nominal compared to the vet bill and potential loss of life. Not to mention the knowledge and support you leave empowered with.

Thank you, thank you, 1000 times thank you

On a side note, you guys should definitely create a kids reptile class so other peoples children can grow up to be empowered like Audrey instead of scared like me!

Great people! The person who answered the phone was very kind and explained why we should not try to get rid of the kingsnakes in our front yard. He even identified the snake for me through text, which is very helpful. I highly recommend calling them for reptile concerns (instead of animal control, who were not at all helpful)!

Been trying to get them on the phone for a week to find out if they take bearded dragons. After they finally answered, I heard a guy telling a story about a snake and was completely ignored. I called 20 minutes later, they answered and the two were still talking. Don’t waste your time.

Called several times and got no answer. Left a message and have yet to hear from them. Maybe you should either change your message or remove your name from the reptile rescue list.
