1505 Elm is the best place to live downtown, without exception. Before moving in 2 years ago, I visited everywhere in the loop. I can honestly say that 1505 Elm is an entire level above any other place. It has the perfect location downtown. You can walk to anywhere important, and unlike many places downtown if you want to drive, it's a fast jump in your car and drive off in a number of directions. The units are amazing, spacious big windows well maintained. The Gym is quality and the Movie Theatre is a nice touch.

But what really makes this place shine is the quality of the crew that runs it. Everyone from the cleaning crew, to the valet and front desk have an amazing ethic that makes you feel like you're living in an upscale hotel, rather than a condo. It really rubs off on you. I find myself worrying about less, relaxed more, and perhaps a little more fancy than I really deserve. It's really this fantastic team that puts 1505 Elm far above the pack.

I've moved out now (work calls me elsewhere), but if not, I would have seriously considered investing heavily in the penthouse that is for sale and made this my forever house.

I purchased a condo in this building in 2014. I find it a great place to live. The 1957 building is more of a boutique type condominium structure ( 68 units!)as compare to the many others in the Dallas area. It offers 24/7 security as well as concierge service and covered parking assistance for residents and guests! Located in the heart of downtown Dallas. The residents are very friendly. Building is maintained quite well and offers amenities as a film room, wine cellar ( converted bank vault!!) party room, small library, fitness room, sauna and a roof garden with pet area, and pool. The condos are quite spacious with nice finishes and good light. I looked at many condos and homes before purchasing and this offers a great deal plus spacious living quarters and personal storage in the condo as well as a large storage individual storage room on my floor. If you want a home you can age in easily, this is a fine option as the doorways are wide and will accommodate medical equipment as will the baths with little adjustments.

Disappointed around every corner. The best thing I can say about this place is the location and Valet staff were amazing day in and day out. The management of this HOA was absurd as is the price you pay in Dues. ($1,225 at the time + utilities) A 60 unit building does not need a full time HOA manager which would be a huge savings to the residents in their monthly dues. Having a full time manager, you would expect the place to be a bit cleaner and better maintained DAILY.

This place is totally awesome. The address is a little misleading as the actual entrance is on Akard. The valet parking is free for visiting. The concierge service is really great and professional. There are a number of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.
