A. S. Turner and Sons defines the term respect and grace. The tenderness they demonstrated when they came for my dad to the last handshake and hug at the cemetery, the experience was frictionless. The care and patience Tommy Wages showed for us as we went through the details was extraordinary. Every aspect of the funeral was delicately discussed. My dad was 98 and a WWII Veteran and you would have thought he was their dad from the experience we had.
Church to Police Escort to cemetery to military salute to laying my dad to rest, our day was cleared of any issues and work so that we could celebrate and bury my dad with honor and dignity. You can trust A. S. Turner and Sons. Highly recommended.

If I could give a million stars I would. The staff at A and S took such great care of our baby girl. They knew the importance to us to have her back in our arms as soon as possible so that we could return home 4 hours away. They were very compassionate, caring, and understanding. I would recommend them to anyone!

My mom recently passed away and my family decided to use AS Turner and Sons Funeral Home to make arrangements for her service. Working with the staff of the funeral home was a pleasure. They were all very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. Our funeral director John was wonderful to work with. He made himself available at all times and if we had to leave a message he got back to us promptly. He made things easy for us by answering our many questions and making valuable suggestions for us to consider without making the process any more stressful than it needed to be. We were very pleased with the final arrangements and how they were executed and would highly recommend this funeral home.

My mother died suddenly in November 2022 4 days before Thanksgiving. We used A.S. Turner because other family members used them and had a good experience. Do not listen to the one star reviews. I couldn't of been more impressed and satisfied with their service and help. The manager Tommy, handled the booking of the funeral. I was most impressed by the no pressure to buy a bigger package as I was told everyone was salaried. Everyone was getting paid regardless of what package we bought.. the price for what wanted was extremely reasonable. the staff couldn't of been more helpful and comforting then they were. Everything mom wanted she got. Thank you so so much for your help in that terrible time for us.BTW, I don't know where a 400 fee for an obituary comment from another user came from. We were never charged separately for anything and the package we picked was all inclusive.

Compassionate, caring, respectful. Very modern with prices clearly conveyed and care taken to make sure you are ok. We did a green burial at Honey Creek Woodlands Cemetery and they knew all about the process and had the perfect green casket. You won’t regret Turner…both my mom and dad would only go there. Thanks!

All we wanted from A. S. Turner was cremation of our loved one. We didn’t even want an urn, because we were going to scatter his ashes in our church’s memorial garden. The folks at Turner never pressured us in any way to buy anything we didn’t want; there were no questions about “don’t you want this,” or “don’t you want that.” They were kind and thoughtful and did everything they could to make the process as easy as possible for us. They placed the obituaries in the newspapers we chose. And we bought a guest book, not realizing that our church’s Altar Guild would provide one. So we did not use the guest book from A. S. Turner, and I called to see if I could possibly return the one I had bought from them. The answer was “absolutely, just bring it in anytime.” I am still amazed at the way A. S. Turner made everything as simple and easy for us as they possibly could.
