Uscendo dalla Scottish National Portrait Gallery cercavamo un posto, senza troppe pretese, per mangiare a mezzogiorno. Siamo arrivati qui googolando e...sorpresa! Un posto nel seminterrato ma davvero carino. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto era simpaticissimo, il locale era vuoto e ci ha messi nell'unico tavolo inondato dal sole. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo scoprendo sapori nuovi. Ho fatto notare che la salsa piccante non era abbastanza piccante per noi, e lui ci ha portato un olio aromatizzato "segreto" con peperoncini verdi e rossi, di quelli che si usano per innescare una reazione termonucleare, ed era... effettivamente all'altezza. Spero di tornare qui un giorno.

We were wandering around and came upon Baruno by chance.
We had a 3 “small plates” and a some cocktails. All delivered by amazing and friendly staff. The owner was great and it was lovely to hear about the bar / restaurant from him. The music was at an enjoyable level for us. It was a great atmosphere.
One brilliant part was the ladies toilets, beautifully planned. The whole place just had a great vibe about it. It we lived in Edinburgh would definitely go again and again. Loved it!!!💃🏼🕺🏼

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Husband and I are on our 2-week honeymoon and I’ve been dying for a taste of home. It is incredibly hard to find good Latin American food (especially when most people think that means Mexican food..), and finding BARUNO was like an oasis in the desert. We both had the sancocho — a hearty stew with plenty of veggies and meat — and ended with a flan (or pudim). SO GOOD. (I can’t show you the flan because I ate before my camera had a chance.)

As a plus, there were two very adorable and tiny hosts named Tequila and Zinfandel.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Baruno with my family on Wednesday, November 6th, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! Despite it being a quiet evening, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their attentive service truly enhanced our visit. ❤️

Now, let's talk about the food! The quality was absolutely top-notch, with every dish bursting with flavor. We were all impressed by the creativity and freshness of the ingredients, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the exceptional dining experience we received. It’s a rarity to find such great value without compromising on quality!

To top it all off, Baruno was playing the best music, which created a lively and enjoyable ambiance. I even caught my mum and son dancing along to a few songs, which added an extra layer of joy to our evening. It’s not every day that a restaurant can bring a family together like that!

Overall, I can’t recommend Baruno enough. We left feeling satisfied and happy, and I can’t wait to visit again soon. If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, great drinks, and a welcoming vibe, Baruno is the place to be! 🌟

An amazing place! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The waiters were attentive, quick, and always ready to help. The restaurant’s owner was very friendly and even came to our table to check if everything was okay. I loved it!
The atmosphere was cozy and beautifully decorated. The food had great flavors, was made with high-quality ingredients, and came in generous portions. The prices were very fair too.
We also went back for the party, and it was fantastic! The vibe was incredible. The drinks menu had plenty of options.
Perfect experience! A solid 10/10.

Would five stars be enough for this? I don't think so, starting with the wonderful service and ending with wonderfully seasoned, delicious, tasty food at a wonderful price. I simply loved it and will always come back. Thank you Cameron for the wonderful service
