I was worried because of all the negative reviews, but had a pretty smooth experience here today. Make sure you have an appointment, and that they offer the service you need — I saw them turn people away.

Otherwise, the staff were clear and efficient. Queues were organized and supervised, the place was clean and orderly. I arrived at 10 am for a 10:30 appointment and was out in 2 hours. That’s a long time for a license renewal, but they were packed.

The only hitch was I brought my current lease as part of my 6-points identification and the person insisted on a bill or bank statement, since my lease was dated 2023. I had to step off the line and try to pull up a statement — only later did he concede. Luckily there was only one person ahead of me when I got back in line.

The supervisor Paul is incredibly disgusting!!!!
Went there at 1:10, waited until 2:55 to get my number been called, then counter 11 says I missing the a number of the address, requested to get a ticket in that way I won’t need to wait again!
BUY!!! counter 11 transferred me to the supervisor, and this supervisor asked me to get a new number!!!!! Waiting agin! From the Beginning!!!!!!
Even after I printed the correct address with the number on it!!! He didn’t even take a look!!!!!

He kept saying my driver license is not expiring, no need to change to REAL ID!!!!!!!
Excuse me !!!!!!!!!
Then the REAL ID RULE WAS SAYING BY YOU!!!!!!!!! The supervisor?!!?

Why government ask everyone to change Real ID How to take flight without real id

That disgusting supervisor just wanted to save his own job!!!!!! Shame of him!!!!!!!

Now is 4pm!!!!! I’m still here with the new number!!!!!!!

I live far from this DMV!!!! Registered month ago for this spot!!!!!!!! He was kept saying on his own!!!!
Not listening to any single word that the customer says!!!!!

Avoid this MVC at all costs.

Went there just to get an initial permit and wasn't told that I had to go on the line for an I. D check. So after waiting for an hour and a 1/2 for my number to be called. I finally go up to the supervisor and tell So after waiting for an hour and a 1/2 for my number to be called. I finally go up to the supervisor and tell ask if my number has been called. This dude aid no because you have to go to the i.d check and I told him well, the clerk never said I had to go to the i.d check she only said I can go to the back and wait. To which he replied Yes, she did. He was not a part of the conversation between me and the clerk, he was not present during any part of that conversation.
They obviously do not care about your time and it's better for you to . to go to a different MVC than this if they're not going to fix the problem and direct people promptly. Huge waste of time and the staff is very rude, like just be attentive and make sure people know where to go. So every one's time it won't be wasted.

Not a bad experience. All DMVs are the same in that even if you have an appointment, you are expected to wait. I had an appointment at 2:40, got my IDs checked, got my license renewed and was out by 3:50. So expect to be there for at least 1.5-2 hours. Even with an appointment. And don’t forget all your points of identification, otherwise you will hold up the line and waste everyone’s time. Just be smart about going and give your same ample time to go and it should be ok 🙂

Shockingly inefficient.

Having arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment, I was told, "the system is down" with no approximate time of it being back up. I was not notified of this prior to arriving. The receptionist told me, this "system is down" failure happens all the time and is unpredictable. I was told the wait could be up to 4 HOURS with no guarantee that it would be operational by the end of their day.

I waited nearly an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment time with no communication.

When I asked for a status update, I was told to reschedule for another day and hope the system would be up and running.

Before wasting your time -- Be sure to call and speak to an actual representative before heading to a scheduled appointment to make sure the system is up and running.

Some of the staff is very unprofessional. One of the Spanish ladies screamed at me because I made two errors filling out a form and claimed that I gave her an attitude (I surely did not, I merely responded to her question). She even told me not to go back to her window and better go to another one. She acted like I was asking for food stamps while getting my ID, trying to make me feel stupid. People like that should never work around people. They should be behind a desk doing data entry…not interacting with the public.

Staff doesn't know how to read a passport correctly. They insisted there was a space in my middle name, but if they just looked at the MRZ at the bottom it unambiguously has no space (in order for the bottom to be machine readable, spaces are converted to < symbols). I just learned what an MRZ is so I'll be able to convince someone in the future if they ever ask. Literally the first time anyone's misread my passport in my life. Had to come back the next day with my birth certificate. The ID desk was very rude when I asked about it. At least the lady at the photo booth was nice.

I visited this DMV thrice already. The problem here is not everyone is consistent on the requirements for an ID. I took the same documents for Real ID first time. They said they cannot consider it and need my debit card. So I got normal state id done.

Next time I went for a real id with my debit card. It wasn’t asked at all. The 6 point ID is not very clear enough.

Honestly take everything you have related to ID proof. EVERYTHING. I have figured which counters are actually great to get the job done after multiple visits.
