This place is Heaven Sent! They helped me get my PSEG bill paid and treated me with respect. Ms. Diane really went out of her way to get me the assistance that I needed during to pandemic. She never looked down on me, and that's the kind of customer service you will get from Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation. They are truly here to serve the people of Hudson County. Completely unprofessional! Made an application on 1/30/24 with a court date on 2/22/24. Did not receive a response until I called to complain , ON MARCH 11th 2024. Audrey Marineli failed to follow up with me for almost a month and Instead of returning the call back she finally denied my application (even though my case was already dismissed) Instead of acknowledging their severe lack of communication , they continued to beat around the bush. Absolutely no accountability. Supervisor was also no help. Was unprofessionally added to the call without informing . Everyone needs to be retrained. If u are here to help the people ACTUALLY HELP THEM. Absolutely no reason it took them 30+ days to see that they received a blank application . UNACCEPTABLE

Super helpful staff that try their best to help you in time of need! Give great advice, help you submit applications to the state for emergency assistance. If they cannot help you, then they will point you in the right direction of where and how to get help. They even have a food pantry.

Constantly losing papers that I submit it seems. Unless you have picture proof they want to claim every paper is lost or they haven’t received. If you’re not even organized why are you working? Personally I would fire workers who constantly lose paperwork with someone’s sensitive information on the papers but that’s just me though. Speaking to Diane and Susan who want to keep losing things. Keeping this review up till they want to change their actions.

Very unprofessional the girl in front Andrea was on her personal phone while taking down client information whoever she was talking to wrote down the clients social security number because they repeated it back and all Andrea did was laugh and say shhh your on speaker I think that’s a crime shame on you Andrea I hope they tell her something
@veroandrews it is not professional to be in your personal phone while handling clients important information such as social it is not professional to be on your personal cell phone while you are at work period so how bout you get your facts together because it might have been your social her boyfriend was writing down so please have several seats somewhere sticking up for your friend on google review is so childish

Total mistreatment if you don't speak English like them, they want you to answer what you understand, they treat you like anything, no empathy with people. A DISAPPOINTMENT that there are people like this who say they help others, forgive them, but IT IS NOT THE LIKE THAT. They don't give you alternatives, they just send you flying and that's it.
