I just had my wedding here over the weekend and it was awesome. Lou made sure to keep asking if everything was looking great for me (the setup of the hall) and he nailed it. We got so many compliments. The bartenders were also so great and punctual. Can’t wait for the fish fry in October.

It's a pretty cool place to play bingo. They're not that expensive, and the payouts are not too bad. They sell pizza and drinks downstairs and upstairs they usually have a variety of food and snacks.

My husband is a lifetime VFW member. . we have tried to stop in here for drinks a few times and each time we've gotten "we are closed."
We just want to know when is the canteen open for members? We are members, but haven't gotten a straightforward answer from anyone yet.. hope for a response! We stopped in today and a man sitting at the bar told us they were closed again.
Building looks nice, but we would like to meet local members and visit the canteen.

Went to the post for a Veterans Day meal, free of charge. It was quite tasty, and it hit the spot. Free drinks also, but I donated to the cause. I'm still a young vet, and the older vets need as much as they can get. When you see a veteran, thank him or her.

We went there for an end-of-life celebration support of a family friend who had just lost his mother. There was plenty of parking, the accommodations were great and the facility beautiful.

Finally tried this place for the first time. I’ve always heard a lot of good things about this place and it definitely holds up to its reputation . This is definitely the best fish fry in all of Joliet. The cod pieces are really a good size. I would definitely also check out some of the desserts. I had the banana cake with the frosting. Please support your local VFW!

Had a good time. Highly recommended it. Me and my wife are going again ?. As a matter of fact, we're going to try and go every month. The band Cadillac Groove were fantastic. Definitely follow them.

Cantigny Post has been a great location for us, we have used it several time in the last few months. Lou is always a pleasure to work with. He and the post do everything possible to make our events we host there a success!
