I've called every contact number listed, but no one ever answers the phone. I can't even leave a message because there's always a generic recording saying "This mailbox is full. You will not be able to leave a message..."
Remarkably unprofessional!
As a last resort, I sent them an email stating all of the above, but I never received a reply.
Is this even a real business

How do you receive grants, donations, and tax exemption status as a nonprofit, but not serve (or poorly serve) the community as required

The VITA Program at Cesear Chavez is a joke. They do everything possible NOT TO HELP. So sad that they get paid to dismiss clients, be rude, disrespectful yo their own kind, to elders and all others. If you need help with your taxes, DON'T go to the Cesar Chavez location.

Go to Willie Velasquez location or any other VITA.
If you're looking for work this is not the location you want to be at. And, CINDY SANCHEZ from HR is not beneficial to Catholic Charities. She is not professional, she is rude and vindictive. She will stop at nothing to run you out if she does not like you, period. She puts a very bad taste in this organization. People this is why feedback is very important. If you something, say something. It gives them the opportunity to improve OR not. "Catholic Charities," must bring up their standards. After all they receive over HALF A BILLION dollars from the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT plus from other endowments, TO HELP PEOPLE! And hire the most qualified to represent them.

Been waiting for a call for 12 months and still nothing. Rosa only answers and even now she's being extremely aggressive while on the phone lines. I doubt she even has a background helping people if her phrase for an individual who would lose all function of his legs in a month was "maybe you should have stayed in a home, then."

I would give 0 stars if possible. Like the other reviews say they tell you to call Monday at 8:30 (even though they are not open and the mailbox is full). I called the city to let them know that they no longer help so hopefully people in need can find another way. And with people who are less rude about it.
