Most efficient DMV experience of the past 20+ years I have had engaging with DMV in multiple states. From setting appointments to the actual process on the day of the appointment. Kudos to the State employees for providing residents with this level of service.

Everyone was lovely from the security guard at the front door as you arrive to the people performing vision tests. My appointment was for 10:15 on a Thursday. I was called to the counter at 10:15 on the dot! Was back to my car by 10:45👍

Had a 10:30 appt. It’s 12:30 and I’m still waiting and staff has now left for what I’m sure is a much deserved lunch break. This is looking like a 3 hr wait. Come prepared all ye who enter. DMV why do you overbook a supply of people you clearly cannot serve?!?

Truly the worst service possible. Had an appointment today but still waited over an hour to be called to counter. Person behind the counter was uninformed , badly trained and extremely unhelpful. An embarrassment to the State of Connecticut.

At least on this last visit, they were running 3 hours behind from the time you were granted entry and a ticket number to when they called you to a window. Then, I was missing a paper from the dealer that I should have had so, ultimately, a total strikeout. Next appointment is another two to three weeks out.

This has to be the worst DMV ever.....
Literally are the only shrinking Americoa beaycrazizoes, staked in the line share. You have to make appointments month's in advance? Just to be told you didn't do it right. need to come back and do it against the 5 wish you already studied just to be told no. What if you travel for work, what if they only take credit, or cash? Have been trying to register my car here for over a month now and the first time I was told we were only missing one piece of paper work. Went in for the second time and they tried to tell us we weren’t paying our taxes when checking with city hall all our taxes have been paid, not only do they barely have openings, they send you on a wild goose chase after something that doesn’t even exist. Probably the worst dmv in CT they should have closed it down like they were planning to years ago.
