My daughter has been in this program for a couple of years now. The first year was a pleasant experience and the coaches were great and very easy to work with, but this year was the complete opposite mainly because of the new coach who is also the director of the association. Imagine yelling at the kids constantly during the game that instead of them paying attention to the ball or the game, they are just looking at the sideline and trying to figure out the directions. Substitutions did not make any sense either, in many cases they were made too soon or too late, I've seen no efforts to build a team spirit at all with the kids and this is not even a select team. I'm as competitive as they come, my daughter is the same and I know the Sport very well so, while of course I want her and the team to win every game if possible there are bigger lessons that I wanted my daughter to get out of being in a Soccer or sports team but I felt that opportunity was not there in CYSA so we pulled her out mid-season and selected a different program.

This is by no means an Academy/Select organization. A rec team is better managed. Unqualified coaches who don't show up for their games, no training in player development. You are going to waste your money and time, especially your kids future with them.

We've done 2 seasons w CYSA and had no issues whatsoever. Getting to watch them navigate the most bizarre circumstance of a pandemic lent a view into how much care this group gives to empowering youth sports. Our son has enjoyed his team and had a terrific experience w the coach. Thanks CYSA

This has been the absolute worst soccer organization that we have been involved with. When you call to talk them they are EXTREMELY rude and uneducated. This is a warning, if you sign your kids up for this association you are just asking for a disorganized waste of money to be added to your life.

If applied for this they say u r in waiting list but they don’t tell n inform u that u didn’t get the pls. We hav to call them daily. That’s soo unfair:(
