Came here for our bowls match but have been here for social events as well.
Lovely social club and function room with seating for plenty of people.
Bowling green is well kept as are the surrounding gardens.
Overall very nice.

Attended for a family do, not been for nearly 50 years. It's a lovely Phoenix Nights club that is very popular. My score is based on the disgusting rosé wine they sell. Bought a bottle for the table, might as well have bought pink sugary water it was vile! Wasted £14 on a bottle and had to add soda water to make it almost drinkable and only 10% alcohol as well. The young bar staff did not have a clue when asked for dry wine. Whoever is in charge of buying their wines obviously has never drank wine

Lovely club happy to be a member again there is a variety of drinks to be sampled and the club is a warm welcoming place and the entertainment on a Saturday evening is of good taste.

Nice bar and function room. We visited for a friend's christening and it was a good venue, but there were a few instances of staff being less than friendly towards our young children who were only playing and causing no bother. It seemed unnecessary and took the shine off an otherwise positive experience.

Great place to meet up with friends. Good choice of inexpensive drinks. You have to be a member of the club to book the function rooms, but membership is only £5 (less if you're 65+). It's clean and well decorated and the staff are always helpful and friendly.
