Called to get assistance regarding my situation and they were going to help me set up therapy but refused to give me the appointment because I wouldn’t be allowed to bring my disabled baby. The world is not set up for women with disabled children in crisis especially. Did you know disabled children are 64% more likely to be assaulted ? It’s not as easy as “finding a sitter” I am on an island all alone.

It's been 3 yrs since my incident protective order granted after 9 police case # for being stalked by an ex. 2 trackers foun on my car. I lost 2 jobs as a result and having to be available when called by this organization. No child support. Told to navigate different routes when I travel. Had to buy a new phone. Had to move to feel safe as it did not end. Only to be told protective order does NOTHING! All during covid! Protect yourselves ladies may be more beneficial. Bexar co tx does not care. Finally getting back where I was before all this began with zero help . ...

I went to class and loved the atmosphere and setting set up. You immediately felt calm and Peace. The counselors and team are polite. As long as they continue to set a non judgment setting I feel people will be willing to continue services. They do hands on activities and bring forth Harsh topics and present them smoothly. It makes it more easier to process the therapeutic topic . The feeling at the end is appropriate. If you have questions for resources they may be able to accommodate , they are for the most willing to guide you to the right resource.

Front office staff are very unprofessional and rude. One is coming in for a service ordered by the court and are paying for services for a reason it’s not a free service. Seems as if one is treated unprofessionally for that reason by a place that offers counseling. Someone should be knowledgeable when a person calls to make an appointment, make sure they’re aware of what documentation is required then before coming in not when they show up also if can be emailed or it must be on paper in person. Staff stating to email an identification card when it’s already in y’all’s system instead of looking or asking if one has done so. Maybe take into consideration that some are disabled and have low iQs and comprehension issues when asked simple questions so they may need someone to help them answer one. That’s why I went in with my son. I understand who can come into your office is limited due to Covid, or just the rule that’s understandable. Maybe I missed a sign on your door but still no excuse over your poor people skills and this type of mistreatment.

Called for counseling after finishing classes here they said they would call me back they never did. Don't feel that they care to much about mental or physical well being.

I am so glad for this place. The staff is very helpful. I am thankful. Not everyone is in the same place or comes from the same surroundings, with that said I have to say that the program is very beneficial you just have to make sure to take in what matters most to you.
