I’m thankful always, just be patient and be careful online, follow THEIR tips on YouTube, they promote internet safety (use unique passwords, 2 factor authentication with a cell phone number you won’t change, an authentication app, or your email that hopefully has a unique password with special characters, numbers, uppercase and lowercase characters). To save those passwords that are unique to each account (so have a different password for twitter then you would for your Facebook in the event of a data breach, you won’t have to worry about losing all of your passwords if they aren’t all the same across all the social media platforms, data breaches happen often so take this helpful advice and RUN with it), use iCloud Keychain, or Google password on your device, make sure to turn sync on, additionally, check your security settings on ALL your accounts and make sure you’re logged in to devices you’re familiar with, and AVOID IP CAMERAS use hardwire camera, because IP cameras (cameras connected to home Wi-Fi) can easily be hacked/MAC address spoofed, and lastly but MOST IMPORTANTLY regularly (daily) check your MAJOR credit reporting agencies(Experian, Transunion, Equifax) and accounts that are listed in your credit reports to verify and keep note of active accounts (and inactive/closed accounts) also by contacting the credit card companies/and or bank accounts to ENSURE your identity and funds are NOT being used to commit fraud, double check, everything between FINANCIAL AGENCIES and CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES, and keep personal verification methods PERSONAL for added protection (never share passwords or personal information online or in person).

Call them to leave a report and get a receipt number, this lady that must have thought I was being sarcastic took a report… And then hung up the phone. What do these people get paid for I’m confused. This lady didn’t even give me a receipt number for the report. What was the point of that?

I hate that everyone asumes the FBI does small petty things, they work in the shadows they stop terrorism and high level crimes that's why every one thinks they suck or their corrupt. Appreciate them they could have saved your life one day and you didn't even know it.
