Went to the Sandy Creek location of the Freedom Boat Club of Austin yesterday and it was PERFECT! Great facility, the boat was in perfect condition and the staff was outstanding!

I've been an FBC member for 2 years and it's hands down the BEST way to get out on the water! No maintenance, no slip fees or storage, no hassle or extra wear and tear on your vehicle from towing. One very reasonable monthly fee that covers everything. WAY cheaper than buying a boat and ZERO hassle!

When you get to FBC the dock staff is there to check you out, then you go have a great time. When you're done, you text the dock phone when you're 10 minutes out and they're at the dock waiting to help. They send you a text receipt for your gas and you're DONE!

Don't forget to tip the dock staff, they work their tails off to give you a great experience!

Great start of the season, already been on a brand new surfboat, bowriders all well maintained and ready to hit the water as soon as I show up! And helpful staff which makes scheduling, loading, and docking a breeze. Super helpful if you have kids, I'm glad I went the club route

The RV park was clean, and perfect for our 5 families to stay at for my Nieces wedding! It was cold during our stay.The fire pit was nice.
The only thing I have a negative comment about is there was a neighbor from the area who came to our fire pit and his language was unacceptable and he had no respect for our grandkids being present.
So we all just left the fire pit and stayed at our camper area to congregate by our own portable propane heaters.
He was not approached about the language mainly because he was a local and we were just visitors.
Overall though we all had a great time.
All 5 families stayed from 3 to 6 nights!!
We would certainly recommend this location for a really simi private rv spot getaway with a great view and access to the water (especially during warmer weather)

Consistently an organization that makes membership easy, with quality boats, exceptional staff, at very reasonable costs for membership. We have been members for several years and are always pleased with how Freedom provides such a great, high quality, boating experience for its members while providing many different boating options. Great staff in both Rough Hollow and Lake Austin locations.
