I love the restore. It's conveniently located near downtown. The staff is not very friendly but I believe they are just volunteers. There are always a lot of options of what you may be looking for and more. They have newer items as well like paint brushes, paint supplies, bedspreads, etc. There is a huge selection of cabinets and furniture. They had a lot of gardening stuff which surprised me because in the past I had not seen that much.

Some of the prices are outrageous. Be prepared to be hustled by the cashiers. If something is priced by weight, be sure to mention it, otherwise it’s up to them to charge whatever. If you are offered a deal, example: $25 for everything, ask what the charge is without. You will be surprised. I caught on finally when an item was priced and the cashier said it was higher, additionally it was supposed to be 50% off but since the sticker price was less than half of what she told me it was , I just took the sticker price. If something doesn’t have a sticker ask another associate before getting to the counter. The days of bargains are over for the less fortunate. Purchasing a storm door at $15 is a thing of the past. The same door is now $135. No installation instructions or hardware included. See pics for possible prices. Consider this, when using used parts to repair your home, how long do you think that repair will last? there was a reason it was removed from a previous home. Just like used clothing vs new clothing. Which one will be in better condition 5 years from today.

It's amazing how friendly and helpful EVERYONE is. Obviously their prices are the best, and so is their mission. I (accidentally - sigh) bought a fixer-upper. I never could have afforded the work without Habitat for Humanity. Thank you for all you do!

All of our appliances were almost 25 years old and falling apart. . . We picked up all new-to-us appliances used and certified, all better than what we were currently using at a fraction of the cost of even the scratch and dent store.(We got a brand new oven/range that's still on the sales floor at the hardware store) I did however get burned on a craftsman construction light while all the pieces were present, it was basically demolished a waste of 65$. Inspect your purchases thoroughly and you should be alright. ~ The store does offer a 30 day return in their defense I was the one unable to return in the timeframe as I live 300 miles away ... You read that correctly it was less expensive to travel 600 miles round trip to buy appliances than get anything locally and we still saved... Thank you all so much.

I think it's very unfair how they price items. I wanted this cute little cabinet but it was missing pegs and the middle board in between the doors was broken. The lady said $25.... We shop here often and understand it's for charity, however being greedy is not commendable. Especially when we donate thousands of dollars worth of items here. The older lady who gives prices that is there right now needs to be fair and remember if it weren't for us donating for FREE she wouldn't have a job or items to sell.

A lot of useful tools and decent furniture at much cheaper prices than a traditional home improvement store. Grouts, lightbulbs and fixtures, living room furniture, gallons of paint, doors, windows, cabinets, bathtubs, wood trim, random pieces of lumber, and just about anything else you need to fix up your home on a budget.

I can't believe I never knew of this place. You can definitely spend hours here if you don't have a list. I wasn't approached by any staff but felt they were very busy and focused on what they were doing. Overall the endless selection in every section is awesome. I will be back before I head to a big box store and buy new.

There were multiple price stickers on an item we tried to purchase, which we only found out when we got to the register. The north location felt cleaner, had friendlier staff, and had cheaper prices.
