Not returning Phone Calls. Inexcusable for a lawyer when it comes to a Child Custody matter. A simple revision of a document - file and set a hearing. I think we will have to file other State Bar if this is not turned around quickly.

I want to give 0 stars. He is real quick to give a story about his personal life to convince you he will fight for you. Also to get that big down payment.. but when it come to actually doing his job, there is No returned phone calls, voicemails or emails. I would have to call 5 or more times in a row and then they might answer. We are worst off then when we hired him. All this Gentleman knows how to do is Talk a big game and say "okay" ALOT! We had to keep calling to get paperwork and even then, all he could provide was the order that was established before we hired him. Not the temporary order the judge asked him to write up. I don't believe it was ever done. This guy is truly unbelievable.

I am requesting ALL of my money back and he is refusing. Because of him, we missed a very important court date and there is a child involved Then called us from court asking where we were? They knew no one told us. They both had excuses on why we were not informed.

Last week, When I confronted him over the phone, he decided not be our lawyer anymore. He backed out. All because I called him out on what he has NOT done, and how it's affecting us. Shame on you sir! I hope you read this. Based off the reviews, you owe a few people their money back... This is truly sad for Grayson County and the Community. I will be filing a grievance to the bar.

My daughter went to court with Mr Haney in July of 2023 for child support which he was paid in full for. It is now March 2024 and still no papers have been signed, his office never returns our calls, and for some reason are never there when we go to the office.

Basically lost my case. NOT Mr. Haneys fault. Was just in a kangaroo court. I feel Mr. Haney did a excellent job representing me. Reasonable fee, he is an attorney, not a miracle worker for a broken criminal justice system. Would recommend him and use him again hands down.

Paid the agreed upon retainer in 2021, he filed my papers, was told by his wife “paralegal” that court was cancelled and never heard from either of them again. I have called, emailed, stopped by his office and waited some days with still no response almost 3 years later.

My niece paid him $2500 retainer 10 months ago. We have only been able to reach him by phone 1 time. Always answering machine. Finally talked to a real person who made an appointment only to have him not show up. Will be filing complaint with the Bar. She is a single mom with a baby. I think it is despicable that he has taken advantage of her. All she needed was to get to court. We called the county: nothing ever was filed. Wish there was a Zero Star to check.

Absolutely incompetent and guilty of legal malpractice. Tim Haney has failed to uphold his sworn oath and even worse failed my child. I hired him in 2020 and he has hardly done anything and is almost completely impossible to get into contact with. Will be filing a grievance with the bar. Prepare to throw your money in the trash if you retain this law firm.
