Worst experience in my life! I went so i can try n get info about baptism and getting back to the church. Got told i have to do confession first and that i could stay in mass but would need to cross my arms in x form so priest knows i need a blessing since I haven't been in the church in a while. Then i was told to call office on Monday. Nobody said hi or welcome and when i went to the church office they told me everyone was at mass and practically got thrown out. Its so sad to see how a church that should be opening its arms to ppl pushes ppl away. I grew up cathoclic, did my baptism, communion and confirmation. I was really hoping to be met with kind and compassionate ppl.

This is not an attack on the Catholic church, but a reminder that all ppl should be treated equally:

A few months ago, when my family applied for utility assistance, the lady who handles that department was extremely rude, did not get us help by doing a little extra research of our water bill (since I'm disabled and have difficulty at times), denied our request for help, and did nothing to follow up with us.
I thought this was the "Church" - the spotless, white Bride of Christ Jesus. Well, this lady left a stain in the Bride's dress that only she can get out by changing her attitude, training someone else to do her job, or by stepping down.
Someone should check her in her laziness and attitude. As I've said, there's not an attack on the Bride here, it's constructive criticism that should be addressed by the elders.

0k, I'm a little biased since this is my church, but it is one of the most beautiful ones in this area. It is built in a modern style and boasts one of the largest pipe organs you will probably ever see in a town church.
There are many activities going on and many parishioners are very active. It doesn't matter what time of day or night, odds are you'll find someone there praying. This is thanks to the hard work of a long succession of priests and deacons who have ministered to the congregation and the community at large.
Besides the sanctuary and a chapel, there are an activity center with kitchen and a brand new Religious Education Building.
Everyone is welcome.
