Helpful people but there no parking. The disney concert hall's parking is across the street 20 dollar max parking. The build has multiple address in the same building. You can get where you need to go by taking the elevator down to the 4th floor to the 1st floor. Yes, if you enter from the side of the building, you entering to the 4th floor. Odd. Thanks to all those who helped me and my 87 year old mom find the place and directed us where to go. There a nice park across the street

This morning, I drove down to the Los Angeles County Tax Collectors Office and I was pleasantly surprised. I waited in line without an appointment for 10 minutes and was able to speak to a kind human being, who answered all my questions. I asked why it was so hard to get ahold of someone on the phone and they informed me that they were understaffed, as well, between April to November, the phone lines receive up to 300 calls per day, and cannot take on any more calls during the day. At the Tax Collectors office, they informed me that they understand the burden it takes to drive all the way to downtown LA, and if they could do better they would. I appreciate a transparent face to face answer. If you have issues, get up early, go in person and get your answers right away.

I WOULD GIVE THIS NO STARS BUT THEN I CAN'T POST!!!!!!!!!
The customer service is horrible. The email responses are rude, unhelpful, sarcastic and the clerks hide behind anonymous emails.
The phone hangs up on you no matter what time of day you call. Even after you have wasted your time going through all of the prompts.
I can not believe taxpayer money supports such an unprofessional bureaucracy! Just another example of our country slipping into substandard status.
Wow, with a county that wastes so much money you think these people would be more helpful in letting people pay their taxes so they can continue with their fiscal irresponsibility!

Absolutely worst customer service and support ever! Wait times are literally 2 hours + only to be disconnected on their end. Now, no customer service rep to actually speak to. Phone line is now a long winded automated recording that is informational only! Emails, certified letters go UNANSWERED! You try to be a responsible citizen and they literally ignore you. Terrible reflection of Los Angeles City government.

Disgusting Customer service!! I called 2 times made me wait over the phone over 30 minutes each call, the agent would pick up the phone but stay quiet then would just hang up on me pathetic COUNTY WORKERS!

These people have no idea what is going on. It is shocking that there is no organization between government bureaucracies that are supposed to be working together all the time, and they try to make average citizens literally pay for their mistakes. I know being on hold for hours sucks but confirm with several bureaucracies before taking the tax collectors word for anything.

I received an incorrect bill. Then I made a mistake entering the routing number for an e-check and was frozen out of the system. All of the numbers on the website are automated. I did an internet search on the name of the Tax Collector and when I called her office directly I received some help.
