Gave a one week notice for window solar screen project. All I needed was an ok for the colors. No response for 3 weeks. Crickets and unprofessional responses. I’ve sent 5-7 emails. Still no helpful responses. Our HOA seems to have only hired them so they can kick back and stick their feet up while they relax.

The only time they were quick was to file a $$$ lawsuit when our neighbor changed her roofing without saying “pretty please” to them because legally we must. Seems they really only care about easy money. I guarantee they don’t even read / respond to these reviews.

If anyone knows a better management company that cares for customers, please let us know so we can petition our HOA for a better one.

In the event of water damage due to poor roofing contractors utilized by MAC, don't expect to be treated like a human being, or any empathy for all the interior damage they caused after ghosting me for about 3 weeks as water damage continued daily. If Teresa Frey is still on their website as a Community Manager, understand MAC considers this acceptable practice and treatment of homeowners.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I was overcharged 3800.00 over two years. I will take responsibility for my part, but I live a fast-paced life. Once The MAC Group acknowledged its mistake. They informed us that we would cut you a check. 2 weeks later, I called and spoke to Jessica. She tells me the check has been cut, and it's in the mail. I wait the four days it typically takes. I call back, and she has the audacity to blame it on the USPS because COVID mail isn't running right. I then informed her, I will be calling daily. The first time I called she was able to speak with accounting immediately. The other times I called, she couldn't get ahold of them. Fast forward to 3 weeks, my wife calls and they tell her, we'll first we need to look at the property deed and the price because of the size of the check. My wife informed them, she will be there shortly to pick up the check, and it better be ready. They said come after 1pm. They are liars, there is no reason for the continuous lies. I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Shame on you

Their contract is a scam. Don’t sign with them.
My daughter is having a hard time with this HOA company.
Gone through two managers in six months and nothing has changed.

If you have issues with this MAC Group; PLEASE review the recent case DC -22-02259 (from Dec. 2021 to Aug-16-2024 Jury Trials with Verdicts). My lawyer, Ms. Tayari helps me fight hard against this "MAC Group & one of its manager" along with "HOA & some of the board members", and Ms. Tayari has to fight hard for me to make 5-6 filings to APPEAL and Supreme Courts then win BIG on my unfair case which was also under CLOSED case for 1.5 years and which "without JUSTICE" I was "unfairly" threatened to be put in jail in Nov. 2022 by the Court and Defendants WHO are represented by law firm, Riddle & Williams.

I believe mighty GOD is watching us! JUSTICE is finally prevailed!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. Most unprofessional, lack of care, no responses to emails. They Do not give homeowners what there entitled to, demand letters are left unanswered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I'm not happy with their inability to reply inquiries. On several occasions, I've sent email messages, requested a reply, and received NONE‼️😡
In January 2024, I received a threatening letter about a late HOA dues payment from December. The letter threatened using a collection agency to collect these dues.
I responded that my December (& final 2023 HOA dues payment) was made in September. I told them I would seek legal counsel and any remedy at law to fight any collection.
December was an instance where our HOA dues were raised. Since I'd already paid-in-full my annual HOA dues, I emailed the Mac Group an amount I thought was the difference between what I'd paid for December, and the increased monthly HOA Dues.
Mac Group NEVER replied to my email. Instead, I received the aforementioned threatening letter about a late HOA Dues payment.
Now, I'm having more trouble with Mac Group re: information to process my claim for reimbursement from USAA Insurance for a $2,000 special assessment. Mac Group claimed it never received USAA's request for information. Last Thursday, I sent Mac Group 2 emails resending the same information from USAA. I called them on Friday, and got voice mail. I was promised a return call. I'm still waiting a day later for that call.
I get the feeling that Mac Group is unwilling to provide the information USAA requested. Thus, preventing me from having my claim satisfied.

Terrible experience from many days with these people. Continued to nitpick everything about my home trying to get money. If your hoa board is considering these people. Get them off the board or move out. They charge me a fine without any notice. They stated they have send me a first and second notice and register letter before sending me the fine, but they cannot prove that. They cannot provide the tracking number. They also charge me a register letter fee without sending me anything. They keep sending me thread letter which is very frustrated. I do not want to give them even one star
