Been a patient for about 9 years and was very pleased with my doctor and her office. Was assigned a different doctor two years ago and last week, she got on my last nerve. Was late for every appointment I had. Last week, I waited one hour. Left the room and walked out. Fifteen minutes later the nurse called and told me the doctor was ready to see me. I explained I was on my way home as my time was as important as hers. Have an appointment next week with another doctor in another office. Interesting that patients have to give 24 hour notice, yet once you walk in they give the patient no notice.

My mom is almost 96 years old and recently had a 3 day stay in the hospital due to stomach issues. When she s discharged from the hospital they put in an order for home health visits. Before home health can visit she must see her primary physician, which at the time and for the past 2 years was Dr. Bruni. Unfortunately, he would not see my mom any longer because she is over 80. I scheduled another appt with Dr Lovitz for home health but couldn’t see her for 2 months because she was now considered a new patient to the practice( even though we had seen Dr. Bruno previously.). After finally seeing the new Dr in her office , Home health called for the referral to start their services but Dr lovitz refused She refused because she said we had to make a specific appt for a home health referral. When I made the original appt o told them it was for home health. Now we can’t get home health to visit until Dr Lovitz sees her again, less than 2 weeks after the first time, because her office didn’t show the reason for the appointment. As a layman I do not know your policy. We discussed home health during our visit so I assumed she knew the reason we were there. Would not recommend these primary doctors for elder patients. They do not care about their health .

My mother has been a patient at the Canton office for about eight years. Every. Single. Appointment ends up taking an average of two hours, even if it’s just a general checkup. It takes a minimum of 30 minutes just to be taken back to a room, then another 20-30 minutes for a nurse to come in to check her in, then another 20-30 minutes for the doctor to step in to see her for maybe five minutes. Then another 20-30 minutes to finally get the checkout paperwork. THEN they want her to sit and wait in another area to schedule her next appointment. There is absolutely no respect for the patient’s or their caregiver’s time and no apology for a poorly run office. In 2020/2021, my mother was turned away because her doctor “was not seeing sick patients.” When asked where she was to receive medical care, we were given a shoulder shrug and a shove out the door. We should have changed practices then but options were limited. I’m completely at a loss for how this place can advertise medical care when they show no care or concern and have literally turned away sick patients. If you’re shopping around for a new medical provider, stay clear of Medical Associates of North Georgia.

My mother is a regular patient here. She had a visit today with her primary doctor. She sat in the exam room for thirty minutes while the doctor stood in the hallway talking to another couple who had been seen already. I waited in the lobby for almost two hours on her to come out. If you want to improve your bedside manner please do not keep others waiting for you to chat .

If i could give this place zero stars i would. My appointment was canceled by the front desk staff so when i showed up truly had no answers as to why my apt was canceled and i was never contacted. They wouldn’t work me in until the following week and were unapologetic about the mistake made. This appointment was supposed to be a blood draw for me as well and i was told “well the tech that does that isn’t even here this week” So i wasted my time and energy from the get go with this place as they didn’t even listen to what i was coming in for and had requested, very unprofessional.

My primary care physician works at this office. I love this facility not only because it is local but because I always receive top notch service. I've been a patient here for about 20 years.

I went to Med Assoc today suffering from a congestion in my bronchial area. The attention and care I received from everyone was top notch. Every attendant, nurse, x ray tech and nurse practitioner headed up by practitioner Kristin was thorough and professional.
The treatments and scripts I received has me feeling better already.
We are fortunate to have this facility in our community. I'd also like to thank Dr Bruni for his thoughtful professional evaluations of my health needs during my recent visits.

I had an appointment today for 11:15. It was a sick visit. The Nurse brought me back at 11:20 and at 12:15 I still did not see the NP. I got up to leave but my husband convinced me to stay. I just wanted to sleep.
At 12:25 the NP, Kristen saw me. She was not very friendly and spent 2 minutes with me. I apologized for losing my patience and explained that someone should check in on the patients left in a room for an hour.
Sure, things happen. I understand. I just have a virus. However, I am still an unwell patient left in a cold room by myself for an hour.
