Desde nuestra experiencia el transporte público de Nueva York funcionaba bastante bien. Es rápido, intuitivo y salvó por algunos usuarios bastante seguro.

MTA! MTA why is it at 39° a station filled with people at cresent st waiting over 1 hr for a train to broad st? We had to take a shuttle to get here because the train is not running between Jamaica and Cresent. I have been on this platform since 6:14am, it's 7:17am, I am editing the time review as we keep waiting before i leave the station. Two(2) trains came in and none has left. But you people want more money for services you can't provide. The train just sits there idle and ppl are freezing!!!

Minha filha comprou o metro card ilimitado e carregou em 21/11, porém hoje pela manhã funcionou normalmente e a noite 25/11 não passou… para a nossa surpresa foi orientada pelo agente no metrô que terá que preencher um formulário entregue por ele, enviar pelo correio e aguardar de 1 a 2 semanas para receber outro cartão! E terá que custear novamente as passagens nesse período, sendo que quando chegar o cartão só usará 1 semana porque estará retornando ao Brasil! Pagar 132 dólares e ter que pagar novamente é um absurdo! Tem que ter alguma forma de resolver na hora e não ter prejuízo ao usuário! Indignada! Precário o metrô de Nova York…. Sem contar que teve dia de quebrar o metrô e minha filha ter que descer e pagar ônibus para ir ao seu destino! Mais prejuízo! Tremenda falta de respeito com o usuário!

While I have never been to New York City, but if you can imagine a great big transit system such as the MTA of New York City, it takes a lot of manpower to get the job done and to make the entire system enjoyable. If those subway trains are running 24 hours a day, how on earth could they keep those things clean every time the train pulls into a station? It doesn't take a wave of a magic wand to get the entire system totally spotless within less than a minute. That only happens in children's story books. In the world of reality, it takes hours of work. Yes, New York City, especially Manhattan is littered with greedy corporations and the world of reality is littered with the same thing. I do plead guilty of shoving my real world beliefs down someone's throat.

Dear New York City Mayor's Office, City Council, MTA bosses. It is a complete disgrace and disrespect for what is happening in the metro system right now. On December 11, 2024, it began to rain. Not an earthquake, not a flood, BUT ORDINARY RAIN!!! And for this reason, all trains on the F line (and I'm sure on other lines too) just stand in one place!!! For 20.30 minutes and more!!! Through every station!!! How do you mean that the metro does not work in the most expensive city in the world? Not a quantum supercomputer, not a hadron collider, but AN ORDINARY SUBWAY!!! Instead of sending 500 dollars to all residents of the city, direct these funds to improve the transport system!!! Invite foreign experts, engineers, architects - anyone - just to help solve this problem! In the 21st century, in 2024, to have such malfunctions due to ordinary rain is a real shame and shame!!! DO SOMETHING!!!

In other news, I ran into Jessica Chastain on a crowded NYC Subway train today. I think I stared at her so long, she put on a big green sherpa hat. But she was talking to other people who recognized her.

It's sad that the trains are moving so slow, and I'm sure China is laughing at us right now. I waited at the last stop for almost 13 minutes in the train before it left. Trains moving slow seem intentional to me. I would be glad to see TESLA replace people with certain jobs like conducting the trains, so I could get to work on time.

Gute Möglichkeit sich in NY zu bewegen. Zwar nicht gerade günstig, aber was ist das hier schon. Wichtig ist noch zu wissen, dass man Single Tickets am Automaten kaufen kann, aber auch an der Einlassschranke direkt mit der Kreditkarte zahlen kann. Dieselbe Kreditkarte wird nur ein mal von der Schranke akzeptiert. So muss man als Gruppe die Schranke wechseln. Am Automaten war es auch so dass ich nur 2 Karten mit derselben Karte zahlen konnte und für die Dritte Bahnkarte eine andere Kreditkarte benötigte.
