I joined the NAACP almost two years ago because of the current President Quentin Savwoir. I’ve never seen anyone more diligent and passionate about helping others, and mind you this is an unpaid role. Just an amazing job he’s doing representing the organization.

I love my NAACP branch! The programming, education and way that they show up for our community is amazing. I know that I can depend on them to protect our civil rights. This branch is one of the oldest and boldest and I love what they do!

In the last year the NAACP has a lot more present in the community. The new president Quentin Savwoir has turned this branch around and I’m excited to see what the NAACP branch in Las Vegas has in store. Things are getting better!

I appreciate the organization being available. You know the membership is only $30? That’s pretty affordable to me. I’ve been in their monthly meeting on third Saturdays at Pearson Center and they are extremely informative. Looking forward to seeing what else this local branch does under new leadership. The new leadership took over in 2023.
