This LIRR station is still immaculate AF! It was rebuilt and just reopened in July 2020. This spot is a two-track elevated station featuring two new swanky ADA-accessible elevators, pristine platforms and canopies, new tactile warning strips on both platforms and a very lovely art glass installation created by a local artist. The new elevators are located each on the eastbound and westbound platforms.

Construction on the project began in 2017 and cost $28.1 million. The station was built in 1977 and the past decade began to evoke heavy ‘Skid Row’ aesthetics and vibes. The upgrade for this station turned out wonderfully - so much so, you might almost forget how undesirable these types of infrastructure are to the local community.

The renovations at this location were long overdue but it's coming along very nicely. For a prime location, the new and improved facelift to this station will make it more accessible to every one, regardless if disability.

The last stop before Atlantic terminal, and most of the trains bypass this station. This elevated station needs to be rebuilt, it looks worse than any elevated station I've ever seen. Cool view of Atlantic Avenue.

OMG! Fare evasion galore! There aren't even turnstiles at this station... And the train is bigger and nicer with a mini crapper. There's even a little servant. Yeah, well your ass better try to find your old expired CityTicket and sweet talk the conductor.

Not enough machines. Instead of moving one of the machines to the other end of the platform they moved them both to the other end of the platform. And there's no cover from the weather on that end...smh. Who's bright idea was that?
