Staying at the Oneida Community Mansion House was a wonderful experience, and it was great to stay at a place with so much history. Why just come for a tour when you can actually stay at the destination and have ample time to explore the museum, see the different rooms and exhibits, and experience the legacy of the Mansion House. The rooms were well appointed and more than adequate, and the bathrooms were spacious. Breakfast on site was also nice. I most liked how I could explore the rooms on my own time in the evening.

Me and my husband had a lovely stay at the Oneida Community Mansion House. The bedroom was clean and huge with a beautiful outside view. I wish I had taken photos of it while I was there. The staff were friendly and inviting. The building has a lot of rich history, museum sections, walking tours and more. The only downside is that the continential breakfast left a lot to be desired. The only food options were muffins, yogurt, make your own oatmeal and grapes. Other than that, it was a lovely stay and we would come back in the future.

The history of this building is fascinating. The rooms were nicely decorated but the beds were very uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible and the linens thin. If the air conditioner was needed we would have been in trouble since they were tiny and the rooms had 14 foot ceilings. The bathroom was spacious, the shower and sink were fine but the towels were fairly thin. The breakfast should be advertised as a continental breakfast and was very minimal. There is a card that says to take only one pastry. The staff could best be described as laconic and fairly unknowledgeable about the local area and even the Community Mansion. The grounds had some beautiful trees.

Great overnight comfortable and different than any place I’ve stayed. Has a large library, halls to explore, lots of history. Beds very comfy, everything clean. In today’s ultra-modern plastic world was nice to kinda step back. Outside grounds beautiful as well with gardens and places to walk. A place to remember

What a gorgeous location for my daughters outside wedding. the staff were very communicative, the venue was responsive and catered to our every concern. Very easy to work with. the ROOMS are AMAZING! I cant say enough good things about our experience. Very highly recommend!

It is exactly what you'd expect you have a room in an old mansion and it's just an amazing experience to have everyone should go. We got to see library with books that were Soso old and so cool! The staff was amazing and super nice!

I stayed at Oneida Community Mansion House over Fourth of July weekend and had a lovely time. It’s both a hotel and a museum and has a fascinating history. We took a tour of the house and learned about the Oneida Community who originally resided there. You can also do a self guided tour if you prefer.

The grounds are so pretty and impeccably maintained. My mom and I stayed in a suite that had just been renovated and it was wonderful. It had beautiful new fixtures, a fridge, and two beds (one of them being a sleeper sofa) in two separate rooms.

The staff were so nice and welcoming. They would say good morning and chat with us during the complimentary breakfast and helped us with anything we needed.

One thing to be aware of is that Oneida has a real small town feel. Things are not open late and we could barely find even a restaurant open on the Fourth (but that’s of course not the hotel’s fault). There are fun things to do in and around Oneida, but I would recommend during your research beforehand. We visited the Smallest Church, the Wizard of Oz museum, Chittenango Falls State Park, and Owera Vineyards, all of which were great.

We spent the weekend and it was better than we expected. You are close to town and the casinos. Very clean and comfortable with a 50" tv, fridge, and a single serve Keurig for tea or coffee. We will be going back again!
