Wasted my time trying to update ID and register a new vehicle. This office cannot register a vehicle purchased out of state and the nearest full service office is in Joliet. Staff was also unnecessarily rude. They also rejected a letter from my mortgage lender because they said it wasn’t a statement. Well most people have electronic statements to avoid printed bills and IL won’t accepted printed statements from the internet. Complete joke

Today is September 23 this facility is supposed to open at 7:30.Needleess to say they are not!!! It's almost 8:00 AM and haven't officially opened the door.
The 2 staff people and 1 officer were very ignorant when asked about it.

I came here with my wife to get her a new ID card and the greeter named Arnold (african american) was extremely rude. We are a young Latino married couple, He refused to let me in and only let my wife in "stated applicants only". My issue is right after not allowing me to enter with my wife, another couple (Caucasian) approached and he let them in together. I questioned him why did he let them in and not me? I explained to him that this is discrimination. He replied they slipped past him and they are already inside now and for me to just wait in my car. I refused and told him I would record proof of every other person he lets in without being an applicant. I recorded him allowing another two Caucasian people in where one was not an applicant and then another group of 3 people (African american) in where 2 were not applicants. Arnold is racist towards Hispanic/Latino people. He should not be working with people and something needs to be done about this act of inequality. I would understand if he didn't allow anyone else in except applicants but that's not what he did. I was born and raised here in Illinois and so were my parents. My grandmother is full Native American Commanche decent yet I still experience racism here in my hometown of orland park, IL at a government facility for being brown.

Bad experience and bad service. Before even entering the place we are greeted with the guard yelling at us to back up over and over with a violent tone. There was about 4 people there, no one’s pushing or trying to get inside, there’s no need to be so aggressive. Then once inside, at the photo section, my daughter who is a minor is getting her photo taken and they lady asks for confirmation of her name, I answer yes, and she turns to me holding her finger to her mouth, basically saying shut up? So now I can’t answer for my daughter? I was there as her guardian and have the right to speak on her behalf, so why was I silenced? Then when we were leaving we filled a comment report and both the man and the guard kept their eyes glued to us, we didn’t want anymore scandal, so we didn’t say anything but they continued to stare us down. Orland park is a peaceful and calm neighborhood, which is why we came here, so we this racism? Or just bad service?

My grandmother and I waited 90 minutes in line & then it rained on us. We couldn't renew Driver's Licenses online because we needed to take vision test. Then they tell us they aren't doing vision tests and they just renewed them anyway. We should've been able to renew online instead of this mess. 5 stars, lol

Made an appointment only to be taken more than a hour out of my time. It takes about 30 minutes for me to get there. I had an appointment for my teen to get his driver's permit. For the employees there tell me that he has to get his permit test at the driving school. Not only where they rude. They lie to me and essentially said I didn't know what I was talking about. That they have always done it this way. All the while, I have done this whole thing before with my other teen. Nevermind you can't call the DMV and talk to a live person. Horrible service!

The clueless woman that helped me when I first walked in was rude and incompetent. I went in for an address change. My current (new) apt building failed to put my name on the mailbox which resulted in my DL being undeliverable. Nothing major; easy fix. I went in and this woman told me it was a mail forwarding issue (it was not) and I had to go to the post office to take it off and reschedule my appointment.. that I waited a month for. I told her I never set up mail forwarding. She was very rude and dismissive. Even if I had mail forwarding from my old address that wouldn't interfere with my DL being sent to the new address on file. She would ask me a question and cut me off when I tried to answer her. After much attitude, eyerolling and lip smacking, she hit me with the "Well I'll go ahead and do it but it's going to get sent back and you'll have to come back in" The lady behind her called me over for a picture. She was very sweet and polite. She did however, told me my signature was incorrect? She said she needed my " real signature" as if I was joking about. I assured her that was my signature. Aside from that first woman everyone else was super pleasant. The process was quick; would have been quicker if the first woman didn't try to play Sherlock Holmes and just updated my address. If there were a suggestion box I would recommend training on professional etiquette.
