I'm a single parent of 2 living off my social security disability benefits. I got a bit behind on rent and a few other bills trying to cover school fees, senior fees, graduation. It's been a struggle for my children and I and it was an important milestone for my child. I reached out to Peoples Resource Center for assistance to catch up on back rent and I was immediately turned down because my excuse for being behind wasn't good enough to receive help. How do you pick and choose who's situation is worst than others. I'm a single parent, disabled doing my hardest to provide for my children and it seems like I'm getting punished for getting behind on bills due to providing an important need for my child. I've never felt so judged, hurt and disappointed. My property manager is constantly contacting me for their back rent and I've hit a brick wall.

The staff are lovely people, and I always feel welcomed. My family of four usually receives a lot of food, including one big box and two bags, as well as the occasional gas card if available.

Excelente atención, fuimos por primera vez para familiarizarnos con las instalaciones. A pesar de que se debe realizar registro previo, nos atendieron con sus mejores ánimos, y el idioma no fue barrera, Kaya nos ayudó muchísimo, nos mostró que debimos hacer y todo los servicios disponible en el lugar..
