The bookkeeper at the Hickory location Madalyn is RUDE! The attitude she catches when we ask to pay for half the visit instead of the full amount is unbelievable. Very disrespectful the way she relays her messages!
Every time we go to pay for our doctor’s visits she always makes a point to make us feel bad for paying out of pocket! We are a 1 income household and don’t have the income to pay the doctors bills in full every time and we have paid in full a few times at the Buffalo gap location but the hickory location where she works she ALWAYS has a rude comment. We have paid payments on our account and have paid in full many times too. She needs a new position because customer service is lacking in her department. The buffalo gap location has not ever made a big deal about the amount we ask to pay. The doctors are so nice! The nurses are so nice, the front desk staff are so nice but the bookkeeper is not nice, she’s not helpful she’s rude!

If you like waiting over an hour to be called back for your scheduled appointment and waiting another hour to see a doctor or nurse for 30 seconds this is the place for you.

This wasn't a one off experience either, but has been this way for four visits in a row. Maybe they overbook, maybe they're understaffed, but either way it's a problem and they need to fix it

The staff were great. The NP (P. Wagley) wasn’t pleasant. I could tell that she was frustrated & it was displayed throughout our conversation. I understand the stress working in the medical field. But professionalism should still come first.

I love this place! Excellent customer service, from the front desk staff to the nurses and providers, they always take care of my kids accordingly and thoroughly. They always have availability at each location with many providers for urgent appointments. Wait time is usually no more than 20 minutes, I will always choose this place as my children’s primary care! The phone lines get busy and sometimes you gotta wait on hold, but that’s a good sign, that means they’re that good and everyone in the big country brings their kids here! Don’t think twice, this place is great! Dr. Gomez listens and clearly explains her diagnosis and solution/home care, she truly is wonderful! Thank you all so much for always taking such good care of my kids!!

I do prefer the Buffalo Gap location. However, I have been through two providers now with the third PCP Dr. Gwin who is fairly new at both locations. I just want to say, the moment I met him and observed not only the professionalism and optimal patient care he provided through his assessment amazed me. I have not encountered a Pediatric PCP who's assessments were so effective and thoroughly as his. Of course every mother wants the very best care for their child when they are sick. Dr. Gwin is amazing. This PCP does not brush off the small things. He is proactive in his care and I recommend him. As not only a nurse and mother myself he has to be one of the best providers I have encountered and I would not recommend anyone else. I absolutely love this provider and have so much trust in knowing he will provide the best care possible to my child.

Always overbooked and seemingly under staffed (or maybe too small a facility and chronically overbook). Don't think I've ever spent less than an hour in the waiting room. Indifferent and condescending office staff that use money-grabbing tactics and don't seem to be a good fit for the positions they're in (booking a sick visit instead of a wellness check-up so they can book the wellness check up afterwards and charge insurance twice). All in all, always unprofessional and I've only met one doctor there that will listen to the parent without rolling their eyes (no matter how many times they're proven wrong)

I love our doctor, but very upset with her nurse. She wouldn’t get my child in because he had been seen at a walk in. I told her I didn’t agree with their diagnosis that I felt he had strep. She told me that if he wasn’t better in5 days they would see him. Took him somewhere else, he was very ill. Sure enough he had strep!!!?
