Great hall for a local family function, friendly helpful staff reasonable bar prices and its more wheelchair friendly. Shame about the parking situation, but just go early or don't take your car.

Reidvale housing association, the only housing association to show no care of duty to their disabled tenants & tenants suffering from major illnesses, some, not all the staff are arrogant alongside being borderline bullies with tenants they think they can get away with, avoid these charlatans at all costs you will be doing yourself a favour.

*FROM START TO FINISH… 5 STAR EXPERIENCE*

My fiance (now wife!) and I were planning a wedding with about 4 months notice and were becoming frustrated with the options available for a reception venue. I had a list of about 15 questions I sent out to all potential venues and the vast majority would not directly answer them instead opting to send out brochures detailing expensive packages or offering to arrange a sit down meeting with their in house wedding planner.

It was a breath of fresh air when Richard came back to me within 24 hours answering all queries clearly and honestly. He would always respond quickly and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Caretakers Jim and Robert were fantastic… when we arrived the day before to decorate the hall, all the tables and chairs were already set up as described in a very crude sketch i did cutting down our labors a great deal. Jim even got the decorating team a tea and coffee whilst we worked away!

The hall itself is bright,clean and a really good “blank canvas” with plenty of tables and chairs for up to 100 guests (covers available for hire). It has AV capabilities and PA (with induction loop) for hire. They can recommend DJs and have a cafe onsite whose staff are very flexible with catering options. The bar is VERY reasonably priced and the staff were incredible on the night and assisted in every way possible.

If you are local and need a venue for any event or celebration then this is the place. Value for money,real care and total flexibility. Other venues should take note… this is how you do it.

Maintenance nothing but a sham. Phoned on Monday 23rd for to get my bathroom ceiling fixed (only been waiting 2 year), said someone would come out but no one came, phoned again on Tuesday to be told someone would be out today but alas no one has been yet ?
