I was afraid of a terrible DMV experience, but was pleasantly surprised when the representative helpfully and pleasantly helped me problem solve a title paperwork issue (that I caused). Before I came in, I called on the phone and they told me exactly what forms to bring and what information I needed. It was a short wait on the phone and I scheduled an appointment for the next day. I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes after checking in to be seen. She also had some recommendations to ensure title was transferred officially in the system and license plates were not reused.

Title for my car was mailed to old address so I needed a new copy. Looked online, website said to print and have one simple document ready that I filled out in 2 minutes. Made an appointment for 10:15 on a Monday. Got there at 10:05, checked in. Was called up by 10:25ish, lady was extremely nice and helpful. Cost $5, left by 10:35. People were still waiting from when I walked in. Make an appointment, have what you need and you're good.

I made an appointment and inspite of all the people there, I was out in 40 minutes. The key is to make an appointment.

The lady that helped me was very helpful, friendly and courteous. I had the correct paperwork and even made small talk. She was efficient and I was at her window for only 5 minutes. The longest thing she had to do was gather the info and print the title.

There are vending machines while waiting and there are eateries outside if you'd like to step out. There are even bail bonds services right outside their doors so there are many services that are conveniently located.

I would suggest making an appointment, if you're going to do a walk-in, you will wait for a long time, longer than 2 hours because they are putting all the people that made appointments before you. Great customer service for a govertment agency ?

I set up an appointment a day before. I waited about 15 min, spoke with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff member, who helped me to solve my problem in about 10 min.

This is my 3rd visit here in the past couple of months and by far the best.
First off, GET IN LINE TO GRAB A TICKET! DON’T GET IN THE INFORMATION LINE! TICKET FIRST!! TIP 2-WATCH & LISTEN FOR YOUR NUMBER TO BE CALLED! IF IT’S LOUD YOU CAN GET SKIPPED!
Normally it’s crowded, no where to sit. The two previous visits there was a woman sitting at the information desk. She was very brief with me- I understand there were a lot of folks there, but no one in line behind me.
I have seen that she is not very kind to the customers whom don’t have a clear understanding of English. She doesn’t take the time to look at their paperwork. They are pushed off without having any idea of what to do. The two previous visits I ended up trying to help one Hispanic family and a couple from Asia the next visit.
As someone who travels to different countries I don’t speak fluent French or Spanish. When I moved to New York and would get lost, the people that would take a few minutes to help me made a big difference.
This visit I had the pleasure of meeting a new employee would was outstanding! Very kind and helpful! I wish everyone had her attitude!
