This place was literally the most relaxing fishing hole I have ever encountered!! I have been in the area over 20 years and never knew it existed ?
I am so happy my friend suggested going there to fish ?

This YMCA is a great facility. The staff is helpful & and stands by the YMCA standards. Even the clients are very friendly. The pool area has plenty of room to swim with your little one, even in the lap lane pool. Not a bunch of loud whistles and no yelling strict rules that scare your little, you'll know what I mean if you travel and use YMCA. The whole facility & grounds is, of course, clean & very safe. They also have a couple of amazing spots by the water where you can just sit, relax, walk, and see ? duck's.

Coach Pleasant (funny name for such a rude man) made my 9 year old daughter cry and not be able to participate in her workout today. Absolutely ridiculous. My child is trying to better her health and stay active and this location has coaches making children cry and not want to come back. He’s the male in the orange shirt at the back of the picture. This happened at 11:16am July 8th, 2024. We unfortunately came on a day while he’s here. Usually the women coaches (who started our workout program with my children and I) are extremely nice and supportive. Coach Pleasant was too busy checking out the woman (potential member) he’s with and hitting on her trying to act cool instead of acknowledging the feelings of a little girl that he made too self conscious to workout today. Way to go YMCA! You hired a male to squash the confidence of our delicate female youth!

I walk the trail to get back into a regular exercise routine, and I found it to be very serene. There’s a few small waterfalls & theres no shortage of birds chirping. Natures music always make time fly and offer a relaxing workout while building stamina /cardio &staying or maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Family friendly and a good place for cycling, skating, even saw a few people fishing.

The pool is not fit for purpose for adult lap swimming. With only 4 lanes, none are reserved for adults who are swimming seriously. Children wander in and out of the lanes and if there are already 2 people in a lane a 3rd is not welcome. At this facility, children get priority. Further, the pool area is very small and water slides etc are popular so the area is very crowded and noisy.

Over all the pool is far too small for the vast quantity of people who attend Twin Lakes YMCA, it was not built with foresight as to the areas rapid growth. Another bigger pool is sorely needed.

A most unpleasant and disappointing experience

I have been to numerous YMCA pools in the country and so far this is the worst

Sad to say I have lived in this area for 5 years and had no idea this park was here. It is a gorgeous well maintained park.

Great spot for biking, hiking, walking, leisurely strolls, leaf peeping, nature gazing, running and dogs on leash. Just be sure to practice trail etiquette and leave room for passing.

I had a fantastic experience at this YMCA! It truly stands out as one of the finest I've visited. The facility offers a wonderful 2-hour child watch service, allowing parents like me to enjoy a worry-free workout or a refreshing run on their scenic trail. Additionally, their gym is well-equipped and perfect for a satisfying workout session. Overall, I highly recommend this YMCA for its excellent amenities and friendly atmosphere.
