Great group of people, that go above and beyond for those they are helping.

I spent almost 20 trying to receive my benefits with zero luck.

They helped me get my paperwork in order, and the steps I needed to do to get everything going.

I’d still be at square one if it wasn’t for Candace, Shelley, and Jacqueline’s help.

Thank you!!!

The representatives at this VFW are absolutely outstanding, and will do everything in their power to help you with your claims. They will ensure the proper forms are turned in. As long as you give them the correct evidence they need for each claim you are in good hands. If you do not know what you need, they will tell you. Don’t expect to walk in and have them do all the legwork. They will tell you what you need to do on your end and it is your responsibility to do so. They will ensure that the proper forms are turned in in the correct way at the correct time. Most of the negative feedback I am seeing on here is because the veterans did not have the proper documentation from the sound of it. You must have proper diagnosis, nexus letters linking it to your military service, and evidence, with either statements or physician written statements to prove your claim. Again, the representatives at this location are absolutely outstanding, and I highly recommend them

I called to get some tax information sent to me for filing. It was promised that I would receive it from "8 to 10 business days". That was approximately 30 days ago. I'd drive to the office, but I'm not sure it's even open for walk ups even though the site says it's open.
Also, I received some poor information at this office about 8-9 years ago that has cost me thousands of dollars, and I'm STILL paying the bill.

They are very arrogant and have absolutely no empathy towards anyone I’ve ever heard them speak with. I should’ve known from the day I walked into the office and heard the way they were speaking to a couple other veterans on the phone. I should’ve ran away that day. Rather than doing as I ask I am told how they won’t or don’t want to do something. I’ve been told my options by hundreds of veterans and explain my situation hundreds of times and I am talked to like trash for trying to do things the way I’ve been told. I try to put in claims and I’m told no even though that is not their job To decide. They are new claims and they are telling me no because I didn’t see The doctor for it. Who cares, it is not their job their job is to put in the claims and do what we ask of them

Three minutes of department phone
Options followed by the " unusually high volume" cliche; some more
customer service dodging Options, and then USE THE INTERNET!
Surprise. Maybe I already have tried
that.
All I want to know is how I can get
Hearing aids. I am 88 years old and
had 4 years active plus 27 ANG.

I would never recommend someone to use this VFW. They're disrespectful, will NOT schedule appointments to meet or talk, & can not answer very simple questions. They give you the same advice you can get off Google and act like they did something. And when that doesn't work they aren't any help & just keep pasting in the same thing off google that didn't work the first 3 times you tired it. They run you around in circles endlessly, give you busy work, & never seem to actually help.

Went to pick up some required paperwork. A slow process, but I got it done. It's a secure building with several steps to visit any of the offices, similar to the TSA at an airport except removing one's shoes isn't required. Masks are optional.

Apparently this isn’t Veterans Affairs it’s just records. Which could have been easily explained without the attitude. I called because I wanted to ask a question to get assistance about obtaining a Schedule A letter for veterans with disability 30 percent or higher for preference points. The “lady” was so rude I didn’t even get to ask the question and I use this term loosely she was just full of attitude and snark. I just huge up. No reprimand from me just silence but had this have been in person, I would have been ready to introduce her to Facebook. I was too upset to even ask for a name.
