Needed the batteries in my key fobs replaced today and I accidentally went to Honda service center instead of Hyundai. Dave at Honda helped me anyway and provided excellent customer service! Glad I came here instead of my own dealership. Had a much better experience and I paid less than what I normally do for this service. My next car might just be a Honda!

I’ve trusted Ken Garff to service my car since I bought it there 10 years ago and have never had any complaints whatsoever. Today, however, I waited three and a half hours for routine maintenance in spite of having booked the first appointment on the schedule and was charged almost $400 in labor fees alone. The staff was very professional and friendly but seemed much more concerned about getting people checked in and started than communicating with customers who were waiting. I won’t be returning in the future.

I brought my car in after scheduling it to get the AC fixed which was covered under warranty. I brought it in, they gave me a ride home and had it diagnosed and all fixed in 3 hours. Super nice people. They even offered to pick me up to get my car after getting it fixed.

Service was good. Now I'll never go back. They broke off my front engine mount solenoid while replacing my battery cables and told me it would cost $50 for the part. I called, disputed it, they paid for it but I had to wait an extra day for my car. When I got home and I checked under the hood because I heard some rattling. They didn't put one of the covers back on the engine. I tried putting the cover back on but ended up burning myself. So I went back, talked to a manager, got a second person to check the work but was told this was just a small detail. That I shouldn't be concerned about it. But if they forgot one thing, what else could they have forgotten about? Details matter. Double check their work before you drive away.

Danielle was working very hard to serve me as her client, despite the issue being a recall, which is free for us and costs the company money. The reason I didn’t give five stars was that I had an appointment on Thursday in the morning and they didn’t touch the car all day. Not Danielle’s fault, but the service department as a whole. I got a very good explanation, but ended up having to bring the vehicle back the following day. This resulted in four trips to the dealership at 30 mins on way each. Only one they paid for, though they were prepared to comp one more. The problem however was that I could not reach anybody by phone to receive warnings about the service. I wouldn’t have made two extra trips. I understand they are understaffed, so as the department manager, don’t book services like you have a full staff! As you may have done when people actually wanted to come to work. Set the expectations so inconvenience doesn’t happen and manage customer response proactively. Danielle is an asset to the department, as she remain professional and did everything in her power to reactively compensate for the whole department. She deserves to be moved up from training status. The rest of the department needs to answer the phone, come to work, do the work promised at the time promised, and adjust proactively to set proper expectations. My time is valuable too!
