Well you have to be here on time if you don't have an appointment, because there is always a line that might extend to the street on some days mind you appointment is done online.
At this location you can do all basic registrations. Renewing and other things that need to do with California identification or drivers license.
They do walk-ins,
They are helpful with any questions.
No pets allowed so keep them home when coming.

Hoy viernes 13, mi experiencia en el DMV fue excelente. Había poca gente, así que el trámite fue muy rápido. Había escuchado que este lugar suele estar muy ocupado, pero hoy fue diferente. ¡Muy satisfecho con la atención y eficiencia!

Tldr; no one likes the DMV, but staff here really try hard for it to be okay - so 5 stars for effort!

- yeah dreaded going here, always saw lines
- called at 8am to make sure docs were in order, got an appointment for 2 weeks later @14h40
- they said most people wait bc they don't make an appointment and people aren't prepared with all their documents
- I had all of mine and checked it with the person on the phone 4x, but still needed to run to USC to print some (apparently faster than waiting for manager)
- arrived 15 mins before appointment to check in: they check you have all the documents and give you a number
- waited about 1h for my number to be called and to get to a counter
- lots of people lined up with no appointments
- the person there was clearly exhausted but so nice, tried her best and answered all my questions!
- left at 16h40, no lines outside and nice sunset
- fruit stand across the street was excellent

Today was Friday and probably the busiest day at the busiest DMV in LA. While the adventure of registering a vehicle can be an unpleasant experience due to volume, wait times, parking issues, today was a great experience. Shout out to Keausha at Window Number 4 for being such a pleasant shining star for my experience. Kiki was awesome and deserves a raise!

I arrived at 745am line all around the parking lot but still I predict I'll be done by noon. Fingers crossed....... So I had to go here again except this time after waiting for hours I was not able to get a replacement ID because the voucher I had was expired and the lady wouldn't call the organization that I got it from to verify it so now I have to spend another whole day to get a new voucher and then go back to try again boo this place boo!

I just moved here and needed to get my California drivers license. I came with all the appropriate documents; 2 forms proof of address, my Florida drivers license, my passport, social security card, and military ID. The clerk turned me away because my passport was expired, even though all my other documents were valid and up to date. 3 hour wait, all for nothing.
