These guys are incredible at what they do and they carry amazing projects. I know they do custom installs for dream theaters but they also cater to the little guy like me who was just looking to upgrade my 2.2 setup. They do the most professional and comfortable demo-ing I’ve ever experienced and are incredibly knowledgeable and honest. They're also priced extremely well. Truly the whole package. It was a blast hanging out with them. If I could give six stars, I would and I highly recommend them to anyone.

To say that The Screening Room helped me build my dream system would be an understatement. My wife and I are beyond ecstatic with how everything turned out. I dealt with Rex for months before I even made a purchase. Rex helped me select the perfect speakers and he gave me far better advice than from any other audio store. Once my speakers arrived, he helped me with speaker placement. The Screening Room upgraded our 20+ year-old home theater. Everyone we interfaced with was outstanding! Zachary Faley went above and beyond. I was going to sell my JBL 4349s, which I love, because I wanted matching L/C/R speakers in my theater. Zach talked me out of it, and said he may have a solution to make me very happy.... he would check and get back to me ASAP.

They are in the process of discontinuing this speaker and NO ONE wanted to sell me a single. Everyone wanted to give me a "special deal" on a pair... which was still significantly higher than a single.

Zach, was able to locate a single B-stock 4349 that was in excellent condition. I was thrilled. Now I have three matching speakers behind my screen. Two thumbs up for The Screening Room. First class operation all the way.

I wanted to share my thoughts of the Screening Room AV. I have always been into audio, video and home theater. As a matter of fact, if I could do it for a living, I would. But my experiences with TSR have been nothing short of amazing. I have a dedicated theater above my garage. I am running a JBL Synthesis SDP-55, JVC RS3000 paired with a 110" Stewart StudioTek 130 G4 MP, and fully treated acoustic environment with a combination of Vicoustic absorption, 2D diffusion, and 3D diffusion. My room looks and sounds amazing if I must admit myself.

The screening room deal in the highest end AV equipment and John Schuermann is such a great guy! My sales reps, Zach and Aaron are also wonderful to work with. Their service is always very prompt and they will always take care of you after the sale. I could not be happier with how the folks treated me during my transactions with TSR.

I recently attended a TSR projector shoot-out (8/21) with all the top companies and projectors from Epson, JVC, and Sony. They even had the unreleased Sony 5000 and 7000 series projectors. It was brilliant to be able to meet the company reps and have an unbiased review, calibration, and shootout for the top projectors. John, Steve and the TSR team were amazing hosts and it was such an enjoyable event. I was even able to tour and enjoy John's demo room at his personal residence and was blown away. By the way, the JVC projectors DESTROYED the competition.

If you are looking for the best people, best equipment, and best service, I strongly encourage you to talk the Screening Room AV. I live in Florida and have bought all of my recent equipment from them without regret. Amazing organization that deliver the best measuring, unbiased equipment to your door with great prices.

Extremely pleased with my new speaker purchase and all of the help and support from John and Joel at The Screening Room! They are unlike any other audio/hi-fi dealer. I'm fortunate enough to live near and John has invited me over several times for various listening sessions allowing me to sample my own music and take as much time as I liked. He never pressured any sale, but he didn't need to - the speakers sold themselves. He was extremely helpful in answering question and asking the folks back at Harman and Revel if he didn't know an answer. They don't believe in snake oil audio and instead promote the scientific approach toward audio nirvana. Upon delivery, Joel spent over an hour with me answering questions and optimizing my listening environment. Both of them are very honest and don't push sales or items that provide limited value (exotic cables).

I recommend The Screening Room to anyone without hesitation! If you are fortunate enough to live in the area, arrange a time with John for a listening session. If you are not in the area but come out for the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) in Denver, arrange with John for a listening session and drive the 60 miles to Colorado Springs. It is well worth your time!
